Has anyone used the lockers at the Animal Kingdom?? DS is a special needs child and he loved the Kali River rRde...only problem he did not like being wet and soggy for very long after. I know he eventully dries out but he really had a problem being wet and then being cold in the A.C.Since he is sitting down in his wheelchair his"bottom" didn't dry quickly.. I was thinking of taking a change of clothing and renting a locker so we could get him out of his wet things after the ride. Has anyone used a locker there before?? Am I jsut dreaming that I read that there are lockers available?? Are the lockers inside the park or do you have to leave and then come back in. Thank you in advance.

Yep. AK has lockers and we've done the same thing. We've brought a change of clothing for after the wet rides and it was no problem going back to change (except for the distance. the lockers are located just inside the entrance to the park.)

Don't forget to get a reciept and your deposit back for your locker in case you go to another park. You won't have to pay for a locker again if you need one that same day.

There are lockers at the entrance to AK, but you may want to bring them with you in a bag. Asia is a little bit of a walk from the main entrance and there is a bathroom just outside the entrance to Kali to change in. What I would recommend would be either to bring the clothes in a bag and leave it hanging on the wheelchair when you enter the ride or you can place the bag in the storage area in the center of the raft. Another suggestion may be to wear lightweight, fast-drying clothes or a bathing suit on the ride, then change into regular clothes afterwards. You may also want to bring a Zip-lock bag or another type of plastic bag to put the wet clothes in. This will save you a trip back to the front of the park, unless you plan on leaving the park after changing. Oh, before I forget. There are no air hand dryers in the restrooms, which really surprises me.
