Lock off vs Dedicated?

I agree I wouldn’t have that many people in the room but with more capacity you can add local friends to your reservation who can then use extra evenings hours.

Just curious why people like one over the other.. I mean if you have a choice, why do you want one over the other?

We prefer dedicated with more queens and less sofa beds lol

Dedicated with my parents as they like the real beds. For my siblings, Lockoff and I take the 1BR side. For anyone else, I get 2 studios and request them not to be near each other ( Poly) - fewer points, and I don't cook on vacation.

Absolutely - better to have the 2 actual queen beds in the dedicated instead of having someone sleeping on a sofa bed/Murphy.

We prefer dedicated to feel like it really is a family vacation and share cooking/fridge/coffee since we're all pretty much on the same body clock schedule. Plus, the Riviera is REALLY spacious, and they have their half with the two queens, our kids are in the living room Murphy and trundle, and DH and I get the king master. They have their own bathroom and balcony and closet and privacy, but we meet in the middle for coffee/meals/chatting.

If I ever could get my mom/parents to go, I would definitely do a lockoff because my dad's pretty gross coughing/hacking in the morning, my mother snores like a freight train, and they make DH somewhat batty in large doses. So for marital harmony, we'd have some separation.

If we went with friends, probably dedicated to hang out.
