We have cruised on Disney 11 times. We always book the first day the new schedules come out , so we get midship. Started late this coming trip and no midship staterooms. Would it be better to look for aft or forward? Thank you

I've never really found a difference in motion forward or aft. Go with what is more convenient to the different venues that interest you.

The Aft elevator is basically midship on the Triton Class . Was really forward on my Treasure cruise, right by Aft elevator on Wish- no issues.

My October Treasure cruise, the cabin is in way back of ship so that will be a different experience.

I know the Fantasy has an Aft vibration issue but I don’t recall hearing anything about that in the new ships.

I've sailed aft on the Dream (9176) and the Wish (9184). Definitely more vibration, especially when pulling into port on the Dream. However our family likes as aft as possible for the views while sailing and in port, so we would stay there again even through the vibration. Due to the location of the elevators, like Skippyboo mentioned, the walk on the Wish was noticeably longer. That being said, we would stay there again, without question.

We prefer the aft side of midship over the forward side. Proximity to the elevators/stairs also helps us decide when we are picking a cabin.
