Lo/Jack for Lap Tops

We bought our son a nice Lap Top to take to school in NC next month . We thought about having Lo/Jack installed in it .

We have it in all our cars and I think I would feel better knowing it has it in it . He will be a long way from home with no one to remind him everyday that people cant all be trusted . My son is to trusting : ( its a good thing most times but a bad thing all in the same .

So what do you think ?

If it makes you feel better then I would get it. But I would also make sure he has a cable lock to secure it in his dorm room or wherever he takes the laptop.

What do they charge for laptop service?? Unless its a whole lot less than they charge for cars, I can't imagine it being worthwhile for a laptop.
