LMTC tickets and fastpasses

I purchased my Disneyland tickets via LMTC and they say that I should proceed straight to the turnstile with the printout to scan and there's no need to go to guest services. But won't I need an actual ticket to insert into the fastpass machines? Thanks - first time going to DL!

They will give you a paper ticket in exchange for your printed copy. They will also take your picture and have you write your name on the paper ticket.
