Read different guides and have gotten conflicting info on split stays. If I have a split stay will I be able to make selections for all my days. Some say yes and others have said only for the first reservation. I must wait until my second reservation window opens. I'm am going straight through just two resorts. 1st-6th and 6th-12th

We're doing the same thing, and the most recent reports I've read (of people who have actually been in this situation and used MP) say that you can book for the entirety of your stay as long as both resorts are on property. They're saying it's not working like ADRs are, but instead more like a date-based ticket. It really makes a huge difference on availability, so I'm praying they're right and this holds!

Yes you can book for the whole trip. I just booked for a split stay as an AP and was able to book the entire trip.
Thanks-although I'm not the OP, I was just coming here to ask the same question. So just to be sure I understand, I'll be checking into the first resort Saturday, then on Sunday I'll be moving over to BCV. I'll only be using LLMP on Wednesday at MK (but since I have an AP and can park-hop, I'm going to Epcot later in the day on Wednesday). So I can book my LLMP 7 days before Saturday. And although I can't book any LLMP at Epcot beforehand, I'll be able to book LLMP at Epcot once that Wednesday comes and I use at least one of my LLMP at MK. Or is it all 3 of my MK selections? Either way, that's great-so much good news ! First, I didn't know I could book my LLMP until that stay (7 days before Sunday) of the split-now I find out I can book a day earlier. And second, I didn't know I could book any LLMP selections at Epcot on that day-I thought my selections were only "tied" to one park a day.
So now I'm going to push it and ask-if the first LLMP I select is from Tier 2 at MK, can I select a Tier 1 ride at Epcot? Or do I have to wait until I've used my Tier 1 ride at MK before I can select another Tier 1 ride anywhere, either at MK or at Epcot? Either way, so much good news!

No splitting of LLMPs across multiple parks until you tap into your first LLMP selection Tier 1 or Tier 2 it does not matter.

You have to use your first LLMP to unlock Multi Park and remove the Tier restrictions. So after you tap into your first LLMP of any type then you can select Epcot or any park or an LLMP for any attraction resort wide.

Has anyone cancelled the first part of a split stay after booking LLMP? I’m curious if this would work to gain an advantage over the regular 7 day window.

You risk losing your LLMP selections by messing with your resort reservation. This is what Disney has to say on your topic:

If you cancel or modify your Resort hotel reservation after you’ve already purchased a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, then your selected attractions and arrival windows are subject to cancellation based on eligibility rules.

When you become eligible to make Lightning Lane selections again, then you can use the My Disney Experience app to choose available Lightning Lane Multi Pass experiences and arrival windows for the pass you previously purchased.

Not sure what you are fishing for but it appears to be high risk.

They’ve been known for bluffing before.

Sorry for jumping in but I have a similar sitaution. In addition to doing a split-stay, we will also have annual passes. Will we have to book day to day due to having annual passes or will we be provided the seven day LL booking advantage due to staying on property? TIA!

No, you get 7 day advance purchase since you have a Disney resort stay for up to 14 days. Your Split-stay has no impact or limitations for your LLMP and/or LLSP selections.

ETA: still completing sentences...
