LLMP-can they overlap?

And if so, by how much? For example, suppose I make a LLMP for 1:00-2:00. Can I set up my next one for 1:40-2:40? Closer or further? I remember with FP+, I couldn't have them overlapping at all.

I was able to get a 10-min overlap on a few rides. My only advice is to move fast with the selection and the purchase. I spent too long with the modifications and ended up with the worse times than the App's original suggestions.

Also, choose your must-do rides and go for those first. For example, if you want to ride Remy on Day 3 of your trip, then buy the LLMP for that day first. Don't wait until you're done with the selections for Day 1 and Day 2.

When booking in advance, they can overlap by up to 10-15 minutes. When you’re using them in the parks, I think they can overlap by almost the full hour (e.g., Ride 1: 7pm-8pm, Ride 2: 7:05pm-8:05pm would be possible).

Follow up to what others have said. When you are booking in advance the overlap is 40 minute minimum (sometimes more). As you get closer to the day it will go down a little, then day of they can pretty much be 5 or 10 minutes apart.

I think you really meant to indicate that overlap window would be limited to about 15-20 minutes vs being able to get a 40 minute overlap when modifying before completing the purchase. There is almost no ability to increase return time overlap in the days between the purchase and "day" of park visit.

No, my response is worded properly and what I meant.

Day of booking = 40 minute overlaps, sometimes 45 -- as in 8:00a, 8:45a, 9:30a. 2 days before going to the park, can sometimes get them down 30-35 minutes, as in 8:00a - 8:35a, 9:10a. Morning of the park visit (mostly with MK because of sheer number of rides) can do 5 or 10 minute overlaps -- as in 8:00a, 8:15a, 8:30a.

All of this obviously depends on availability.

Regardless, they give you more leeway closer to the day of your park visit.
My experience is that there is less leeway / flexibility on Modifying return times for more overlap after purchase and before "day" of park visit due to a more limited availability of return times. Even "day" of is often limited for high demand attractions due to reduced availability of open return times.

My experience is similar to Dave's. So far, I've bought 5 days of LLMP and the closer I got to the actual day, the harder it is to get a ride. I tried modifications and ended up with rides at a much later time than intended.

If there is availability we've had very good luck with getting them with more overlap day of. This is mostly possible at MK because of the number of rides. Christmas week we messed around with what we had and we ended up with an 8:00 Big Thunder, 8:20 Haunted, and 8:40 Pooh before entering the park. Sometimes it takes a risk and cancelling something as for whatever reason it won't always let you modify to the better time, but if you cancel the one you have and then book a new time or ride it will allow for better placement.

For instance, we had an 8:05 Pan but rode it on day 1 and didn't care about riding it on day 2. It would not let us modify to the 8:00 Big Thunder, but we cancelled Pan and then suddenly the 8:00 Big Thunder could be booked.

Does the order you select the MPs affect the order the app tries to set up the order of return times given.

For example, if all 3 rides I chose had full availability for the day would the app try to order the return times in the same order that I selected them?

Yes and by default it uses 1 hour of spacing between return time windows. It also checks / allows for ADR times and other items on your 'My Day" plan. It always defaults to adding after any current LLMP selections on your list.

The Modify function iis your friend but you only have 5 minutes to make changes before you complete the purchase transaction. This is when you have your first time to adjust your day's schedule.

Thanks everyone! As of now, nothing overlaps. The system gave me the 3 times, and I didn't want to take the extra time to modify times. I was so excited to get my first choices (and especially excited to get Tiana's Bayou) that I was afraid that if I took any time to modify, with my luck I'd end up losing one of my choices. Can I go back at a future time (but before I'm there) to try to modify?

Yes!
You can also cancel the LLs and change to different park or a different day within your reservation.
Just a heads up that if a guest changes to a different park that is more $, they will be charged the difference to the higher price. If they swap to a park that is less $, they will not receive a refund for the difference.

As I understand it, once I tap into my first LLMP (which is Pirates), I can try for another LLMP. Since all my LLMP are before 1:00, I'm going to try for Toy Story as a late afternoon or evening. Since my AP allows park-hopping, that's my plan. But if I can't get a LLMP for TSMM on day of, then I'll go to Epcot later in the day, paint the mural, browse the booths, maybe ride Soarin. Are my plans reasonable?
