LL Premier Pass is here!

One usual idea is to book a stay an extra couple of days to see it all without making the whole thing unpleasant. That has its own costs of course in the room, tickets and the food etc etc etc. If you are Disney however its kind of a win-win. The customers that get these likely do it so they dont have to book those extra days. So in a case like this the customer is spending the same amount of money. Disney is making the same amount of money. However, Disney also gets the room for an extra couple days to rent out to someone else... making even more money.

That is certainly an over generalization but the expected rationale. But it only works for those staying on property. But then that is the target audience.

There are ways to make this seem economical (one less park ticket day and one less hotel room and one less dinner) if you can be tighter on time. As Sheryl says above though, that is still a win for Disney. For myself, I'd need to spreadsheet it.

We plan to use the Premier Pass for our Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom days next week. I'm assuming the pass can't be used during Early Entry?

Trying to plan if we should still rope drop for one of the big rides standby to be able to ride it twice, or if it's not worth the hassle and we should just enjoy the relaxing vibe of paying a bunch of money to not have to think about our ride plan.

Are Lightning Lanes open during Early Entry? I'm under the assumption that the Pass works like a debit card, where your app is loaded with a list of potential rides and they're automatically removed upon tapping.

Correct the LL Queues are not open during EE for on-site guests.

Do you consider rope drop as the 30 minutes before normal park open or just arriving at park open? By the normal park open time the "big rides" will already have quite a Standby Queue.

LL queues are not open during EE and for LLMP and/or LLSP you can't book before park open., The attraction "cards" don't disappear you just get a Check-mark across the attraction thumbnail image on each card.

Once you complete all the attractions on the list you will see an animation with Fireworks and a Congratulations on a full day of Lightning Lane at "Park Name!"

I tried rope drop back in 2019 when I read it was the way. Others are there for the challenge and swear by it, but I found the whole ordeal tacky and unmagical. I would enjoy the premier experience and if you want to ride a LLSP twice buy that when you buy LLPP. I would consider “rope dropping” whatever ride everyone else is not run walking towards, if you want to ride that twice….

I tried rope drop once or twice. Didnt enjoy it and having the energy for the evenings all the way to closing times was better. However I can see that would be problematic if kids were part of the mix. I think I was able to do Big Thunder 3 or 4 times in a row when it was getting close to closing at one of the extended hours nights.

Thanks! I mean like someone who got there at opening and just started riding the rides without stopping, wandering around, doing other stuff. I'm just curious how long it would actually take to get done. I know most would never use this way, I just figured one of the vloggers who live near the parks may try to do that! 😂
We’re buying these for our departure day, with the intent of riding everything except a few things we avoid anyways (looking at you, Speedway) in about 4 hrs. :)

Oh heck yeah!!! Report back if you can!!! :D
I have been wheeling and dealing for discounted resort rates so I can do these on multiple days (just spent 45 min on the phone - it’s early here on the W coast, so I’m just drinking coffee anyways - to knock some $ off one night 😂)!! Very excited about the prospect of NOT ROPE DROPPING!! Although realistically, I will likely be up early out of habit…

When do you go? It may help in our decision, we are scheduled to arrive on 12/3!

Paging Mr. Morrow did a vlog recently where he sort of did this. I think he did every ride except like 2 or 3.

Does anyone know or have seen data on whether the LLPP has been available to purchase day of for every park so far? To even consider spending the money on LLPP, I would love to be able to wake up and pick a park, buy the LLPP, and have a leisurely day. Thanks for any info!

Well it has only been available since October 30th but so far it has been available at all 4 parks every day. There have been no sell-out days.

Dave
Yep, true but I guess seven days of data is better than nothing :) Where can I find this info in the future to see if the day of availability continues? Thanks!

Speaking of buying PP, can someone please let me know how far in advance I have to make the purchase? Ideally I'd like to get them day of, but this isn't realistic since we're going the last week in December.
