It sort of appeals to me because I am planning for a group of 8 during thanksgiving week, and I haven't used the new system yet, and haven't gotten to read the whole thread on the new system yet, so Idk how effective it will be if we don't want to rope drop. This year I really was trying to not get every one out of bed at 6 am every day on vacation lol. The thought of strolling into the park when I want and not stressing about times and what does everyone want to do, makes this seem much more relaxing. As a planner, I just don’t see the appeal in paying more for something I can get for the price of regular Multipass. Between Fast Pass and Genie+, I’ve been scheduling return times for rides for years. For the most part, I’ve always been able to ride the rides I want, when I want. And if a return time was later than I wanted, I simply refreshed for a better time or I just went with it. So yeah, aside from the high price, this is aimed at me. I’m pretty proficient with the process and I don’t spend that long on my phone to make that happen. So Disney can keep their Premier Pass. I just worry that they’ll raise the price on the regular Multipass to entice people to get the Premier if they are already staying Deluxe.
YES!I'm actually in the opposite boat as a major planner - it is so exhausting while being in the park having to constantly refresh to try and get the rides we want when we want them, doing the mental math on what's near what so we aren't crisscrossing the park, etc. We go a lot (4-5 times/year) and this last 2-day visit about wore me out....I can totally see splurging on this if we were taking friends/family who don't go often and I wanted to just relax and be in the moment with them while in the parks.
But if they include it "free" they will 1000% jack up the rates to account for it. Universals hotels that include it are much pricier than the ones that don't and they aren't nice enough to cost that much on their own. Most people only pay it because it's cheaper than buying the EP separately for their whole family. Just like "free dining" isn't really free and can be more expensive than just buying the dining plan if you want it because you can't use discounts.Who said that's happening? I'm saying it should be free for deluxe resorts with all they pay.
Now if they’re offering it for free for those of us paying over $1,100 per night at the Poly over Christmas…. I’m all for it. I mean we are dealing with the island tower guests overcrowding our restaurants and pool..

No I told them that MK will almost certainly be at the high end of the range.Interesting! Any feel for their pricing expectations? Like are they expecting they’re going to be getting MK at $200/person or are they being more pragmatic and expecting $300-$400 range?
We already have a couple people here say they’d buy it and a TA chimed in to say 2/3 of their deluxe clients over the next 2 months are expressing interest in a 1 day purchase. LL is confusing, this solves that for a price. Doesn’t seem like a gotcha, it just seems like Disney has sussed out another market, one between VIP and LL.I apologize if this comes off as snotty but I can pay that w/o impacting my life. I am also very pro Disney (300 pts @ RIV) and would go 2-3X per year if it wasn't for other vacations. But, ...W.T.F... is paying those prices? $200-$400 per person for MK to avoid dealing with a 1 hour return window? Just when you think Disney can dive no deeper, they pull out another gotcha.

Fair point You're rightThe problem in comparing it to Universal is the amount of rooms that would qualify at WDW vs Universal at this point. WDW has like 6 times the amount of rooms that Universal does.
I was like that with the Starcruiser. I was basically the target audience for that thing. My son and I are huge Star Wars nerds, I’m a sucker for elaborate theming, and I can afford it. But once the prices were announced, I lost interest. Sad because by all accounts it was a masterpiece of Imagineering.I apologize if this comes off as snotty but I can pay that w/o impacting my life. I'm considering it for a couple parks because I am going during thanksgiving, and I don't want to drag everyone out of bed for rope drop. And from what I see following the LL thread, it seems like if I don't book one for 1st thing in the morning it would seriously limit my ability to get anything desirable if I don't tap into my 1st one until say 10 am. So if I'd like to ride more than the 3 initial picks, without getting everyone up at 6 am on vacation, this seems like the easiest (albeit most expensive) way to do what we want to do.Shocking. I mean, it's literally $100 ($25 for FP) vs potentially $1600 to not have a return time to understand a few rules? No clue why anyone would do it.
Its per day, I believe. So no.If doing a split stay, would you be able to use it on check-out day for your deluxe stay?

Even if I can afford something I need to feel like it’s worth what I’m paying. I happily pay the high Deluxe hotel prices at Universal to get unlimited express for 4 people, and feel like that’s the best theme park value around.
I’ve always said I would pay big bucks for that kind of pass at WDW. But almost triple the cost of the park ticket at MK? Nah regular LL + SP is fine, thanks. Will probably do it at HS or Epcot here and there. Now if it were unlimited like UO, I’d get it at Epcot just to ride Guardians 10 times in a day![]()
No you wouldn’t. You’d complain after prices went up $400/day for the hotels if they did that
The key is it being like Universal, where you can get an express pass hotel for $350 a night if you avoid the busiest seasons. Unfortunately, demand is a bit higher at Disney. No you wouldn’t. You’d complain after prices went up $400/day for the hotels if they did that…
I think holidays are where this will shine.I'm considering it for a couple parks because I am going during thanksgiving, and I don't want to drag everyone out of bed for rope drop…
I would expect so, you’re still a deluxe resort guest for Early Entry purposes and for accessing benefits at your hotel like the pool until end of night. If doing a split stay, would you be able to use it on check-out day for your deluxe stay?
