What a special person lizdotcom99 is!!! This wonderful lady had my name in the YCE and she sent me a wonderful package of goodies that I am thoroughly enjoying. However, this is not the reason she is special. Liz realized that DH was in the military and that we lived in Italy and she wanted to make our life a little nicer by sending us some comforts from home. So today I received a second package from Liz that was overflowing (I mean really overflowing) with goodies for my entire family, along with a card of thanks for DH for serving his country. I wish I could reach through the computer and give you a great big {{{HUG}}}! Thank you for your kind words and for all of the wonderful goodies!!

What a great package to receive, Debbi! And you are so right - Liz is a wonderful & thoughtful woman!

How super cool! What a great gesture from across the pond. This just shows how wonderful Disers are. Hope you enjoy your package.

Yay!! That's "our" Liz!! :teeth:

And Debbi...you deserve it!! Enjoy!!

ummm...but are you going to tell us what she sent? ;)

How thoughtful. That's what the holidays are all about!

Way to go Liz! Thanks for supporting our families in uniform!

You are so right tiggerlover! Liz drew my name in the ornament exchange and she not only sent me a really cute ornament (snowman, his head is a waterglobe, he's so cute) but she also sent me a yankee candle, four yankee candle tarts and a bean bag minnie mouse doll. It was so fun to open that box! Thanks again Liz, I really appreciate all the items you sent :D

I agree, you do deserve it; you and your family. People like that remind me what it is to be human. Hugs to your family tiggerlover and hugs to lizdotcom99! :grouphug:

and just really wanted to pass some good cheer along!! Since 9/11, I have become so grateful for the freedoms and luxeries that I have, and it is because of the men and women who so unselfishly serve our country!!! To all of you, I am oh so thankful!!! I am also pretty thankful for such role models as Dan who is the master of random acts of kindness and for Meriwether who has shown me how to put together some really great exchange packages!!!! Thanks again to all of those who have unselfishly shared a spouse, mother/father, son/daughter, sibling, aunt/uncle, grandparent or any other relative that I may have forgotten for giving me the gift of freedom and the abilty to share my happiness with others!!!

Wow Nancy, where do I start!! The first two things to greet me when I opened the box were two huge Lady and the Tramp plush, they are so adorable!! Then there was a huge snowman stocking filled with goodies, there were light up pens, cards, Christmas socks and gloves, two really cute antenea toppers, two puzzle and a magic towel. Also in the box were two small Yankee Candle jars, Christmas tree peeps, a Pooh and friends 2004 calendar, santa gumballs, a Minnie and Mickey mini photo album and a disposible camera. There was just so much it is hard to remember....it felt just like Christmas!

Thank you again Liz and be on the look out for you own smelly package....LOL!!! ;)

Here's a picture of the two adorable pups!
