My ds's (10) class has 8 American anoles and 4 Bahaman anoles that they will give to the students to keep. After the teacher ordered them it turned out that she can't have them in the classroom. Anyway, I've looked up info on the internet about both types and I'm wondering if any of the knowledgable people on the disboards can help me out. Should we let him have one?
We'd need to buy a 10 gallon aquarium, plants and branches, and a heat light? How much does this stuff cost? What about feeding it? He says it eats crickets every other day. And vitamins? How much do they cost?
Any other info about lizards I should know about?
