Is anyone else staying at country inn suites before the cruise wth us? If you are, they have a special right now for 30% off. Just rebooked friday night, went from 155 to 118. Im pretty happy with that. We are in a 1 bedroom suite as there are 6 of us. not sure of the savings for a regular room, but anything is better then none!

I called them and checked and the 30% off offer did not include parking and shuttle to the port. The cruise package added to the 30% off still saved us about $20.

I just realized that the Magic out of Galveston will be trailing us around the western Caribbean, hitting each island the day after we visit them. I wonder if we'll be able to spot her at all?

Mom went to Dr yesterday. having surgery on 8/15. will be in a walking boot for 6-8 weeks. We cruise at the 7 week mark. She says she will be up to it. The kids say we can get a wheelchair for her. not sure she likes that idea to much. Wishing her a speedy recovery. Glad she is going to get lots of beach time to recover.

Wishing your mom all the best. In 2002 we brought our mom on a Wonder cruise. She was undergoing chemo for cancer. We needed a wheelchair here and there---but mostly she was just too proud to use it. But the R&R did her well on the beach and just laying around the ship too. I wish your mom a speedy recovery

Great job Sandy and thank you for doing this. Also, not sure it matters since I still don't have a room assignment, but we're no longer a 6B GTY. We upgraded to a 5E GTY yesterday. I'm sure one of these days I'll pop on the DCL site and see my cabin number assigned on my reservation !

Only 55 more days until our cruise!! We have 89 people (28 cabins) so far on our FE list!! What is the cut off date? I'm trying to get everything ready. I'm leaving for Disney World on Saturday!! We are staying at Old Key West. On Sept 7, my daughter and I are going on the Disney Magic to Canada. I have 3 vacations in a row to get ready for!! I really excited about going on the Fantasy!! Wow, have fun! We're getting excited too! I made my very first FE! I think it looks pretty good too. Even my daughter was impressed! I'm going to make one this week for her family.
