Livin on a Fantasy!! September 29, 2012 Disney Fantasy

well it's been a rough 6 weeks for us! my dd mary caroline was born 5/4/12 with histiocytosis so we weren't sure of what was going on, wasn't thinking we would still make the cruise, but she is doing great right now. her skin only is being effected right now and i got the opportunity to bring her to the #1 dr in the world that deals with this awful disease. and he gave me the ok to plan our trip so i will be updating what we are celebrating! we're not only celebrating my oldest dd's 7th bday but also my youngest dd's first 4 months of life. we've been told by a few drs that 4 months is a milestone with this disease, after 4 months with no reaccurences the chances of it not coming back are greater and after a year it is most likely not to come back at all! so we shd prob be thinking about our taking our 2nd cruise for her 1yr bday celebration!

Wow - how scary!!! So glad that Mary is doing well!! Peyton went on her first cruise at 12 weeks - It's a perfect age to go! They are so easy, still! (Her sister was 7 then, too - how ironic?) Anyway, I updated my FE spreadsheet to say that you were celebrating Mary's health!

Hi. My name is Cathy and I will be on this cruise with my 30 year old daughter, Christina and my 4 year old granddaughter, Kaya. We are so excited! Yesterday Mickey Mouse called Kaya on her birthday and the look on her face was priceless!

thank you all for the well wishes! mary caroline will be easy, still a sleepy baby... the 7 yr old i'm sure will be great as well... she's really excited about the kids clubs... it's my ds in the middle i'm worried about (2).

We think it's hilarious that some of you are almost ready to start counting down to the cruise...We have been counting down the days, since we decided on the sailing date (about 400 days ago). As of today, there are NINETY TWO more days til embarkation Yes, we are EXCITED

Only 93 days left!!! On our past Disney cruises, the group has done rubber bracelets for the cruise. Would anyone be interested in these? I would be willing to order and distribute bracelets if there is enough of an interest. The cost would be $1.00 per bracelet.

If you get enough people...Three for us, please. Do you use Paypal?

We are runners too. We just ran our 2nd 5 k. We like to exercise early in the morning but not sure what to do with the kiddos in the early am while we run....any suggestions?

We definitely would like to partake in the FE list too ! Just dh and I----kids are not coming with us due to college schedules. Also, please count us in for 4 bracelets----trying to talk our cruising friends into joining the DIS and our group !!!

I'm Rob, Maria's husband. I rarely get on the DIS, but figured I'd introduce myself and to say hope everyone is getting excited as our date draws closer and closer. I'd like to join the FB group too. Maria and I aren't taking a summer vacation so we are REALLY looking forward to this cruise and stay in WDW

our boys are old enough that they will still be asleep when we run. on the last 3 cruises, they stay out later they stay out till the clubs close, and we are usually already asleep. se we are up before they are.

We added my mom to the cruise this week!! very excited that she will be joining us! she will be recovering from foot surgery so this will be very relaxing for her.

We would also like to do the bracelets also, we usually do them for FE, but this way we can do something else for them. there are now now 6 of us.
