Livid - Missing School Vent

Understand completely. My boys are 12 and 14. Both straight A students and haven't even missed a day this year and we are getting grief from the 12 yr olds principle. The teachers are fine but the principle whom I affectionately refer to as "little hitler"- because he runs the school that way is a complete jerk. My 14 yr old is having no trouble from his teachers or administration and this is in the same county. The 12 yr old who has no discipline problems, straights A's, beta club, and starting point for his basketball team on the other hand is having to write a report and keep a journal on his educational experiences on our trip.

The OP was just VENTING! Isn't that allowed without being judged and the thread deteriorating into whose a better parent??
