we always do downtown check in and then EPCOT on our last day with THE final ride being Soarin'

I guess when we go next year I'll have to make sure I get a FP+ for Soarin' ....note to self get FP+ for Soarin' on last day

Hi All

HOME!

Last day at Epcot (after DD checking) got there for 0850 - last 2 rides on test track then universe of energy (cool off and sit down) then last time round world showcase - extremely hot! 100F - finished off with a circle trip on the monorail then off to airport - blackest sky's you have ever seen

Well this bit really is the worst of the worst! Flight VS16 was horrid - seperated from hubby - 3 seats me and kids with hubby behind - checked in downtown disney at 0815 and this was best we could get lightening, bumpy bumpy bumpy - teenager in the set of 4 seats next to us threw up everywhere 2 hrs in to flight - omg can't quite describe it - crew once they finally answered the call bell (felt like forever) were great but o my - no sleep, teenage daughter in tears as bumpy and she was so tired - 11 yr old asleep (thank goodness) but laying all over me lol - needless to say not my favourite part of the holiday! Our luggage was the VERY last of the carousel - landed 0845 left Gatwick 1020

Got home 1150 all felt green so straight to bed for best 3 hour nap ever! Then blitzed the unpacking! Now all in pj's cup of tea, footy on (hubby lol) and contemplating next move

January 24th - Iceland - Northern lights tour!
June (date to be established) - 20th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas

I'm sure after a nice hot bath you're all going to sleep so well tonight! And probably be awake at some stupid hour wondering what time it really is

That flight back sounds like a nightmare I bet you were SO glad to get home! Don't you think everything feels totally flat and surreal the first 24 hours after you get back?!!

There are some of your photos up here that I really LOVE! That one from the Safari of the tree with the reflection in the water , the Splash Mountain pic and the one of Main St USA with the balloons (love it!) and that one of the coaster Those are my firm favorites!

I see you have a very good conquer the blues strategy - get planning the next fun!

Forgot to mention that we used the "hidden Mickey" book throughout our Disney time - we all really enjoyed doing it - perfect for slightly older kids!! And adults lol found lots of them and tried to take pics of all that we could - if we caught them quick enough as lots are actually in the rides

Certainly looks and sounds like you had a fantastic time, well apart from the horrid flight home. I would have been with your teenage daughter, crying!!

Love Vegas and thinks that's a fab place to celebrate your 20th anniversary. You have a lot to look forward to so that should fight off the holiday blues for now
