LIVE trip report Cabana bay resort and Universal May/June 2016

We are at T3 Manchester airport all very excited. Flying via Philadelphia into MCO.

Well we are here. Took 24 hours from waking up to checking in at Cabana bay. Flight to Philadelphia was fine but then they cancelled the connection. We ended up going via Charlotte then on to MCO.

No pool view suite which we had booked so 1 night normal suite in starlight then move today to a pool view. They gave us $50 credit and some meal vouchers.

Currently in islands of adventure. Hot and sunny. Dd having a hair wrap done. Parks are busy but not terrible been on a few rides and dd cast some spells which is what she wanted to do first.

Oh my goodness you must all be shattered! Did you do immigration in Phiadelphia? I bet you were still awake really early the next morning.

At least they gave you some form of compensation but I'm sure you would have liked to have got settled into your room.

That's good Anna has got straight into doing the things she really enjoys. She is getting her money's worth from her wand.

you must all be shattered, we always fly direct now after missing our connection flying home as our plane was delayed.

Had a nice breakfast at Denny's with blueberry and strawberry pancakes then at universal studios before opening. Did gringotts first then dd did all spells in diagon alley. Had a fun morning now back in room for a quick lunch (loving the suite) then pool. There is a dh on by the pool 12-5 today. Plan is to head back to parks this evening.
