Live music?

I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this question. When we travel, in evenings, my husband and I like to "wind down" the evening with cocktails and listening to live music (original or cover bands). Can you think of anywhere that this would be available? I remember Raglan Road has live performers at night. Other ideas?

Paradiso 37 sometimes has a guitar player or similar soloist either outside on the patio or inside if the weather is not so good. Raglan Road more often. House of Blues may have a band inside or a soloist outside many nights. Check their website on who is playing as you get closer to your visit.

If you have a car, Red Coconut Club at CityWalk has an excellent live band on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights. BB Kings Blues Club also has a really good house band on those nights; located at Pointe Orlando.

Another excellent choice is Scat Cats Lounge in Port Orleans-French Quarter. I forget the entertainer's name, but he plays like a half dozen instruments, and does an excellent job. He's there either Wednesday through Saturday nights, I believe.

Jelly Rolls is another fun choice, though it sounds like you're looking for something more relaxed.

The entertainer's name at Scat Cats is Elliot Dyson (not sure whether it's Eliot or Elliott). He's fantastic! He used to be a regular at the Pleasure Island Jazz Company.

Thanks for the suggestions. We might have to check out Port Orleans because we've always wanted to see it, since we got married in New Olreans.
