Live from WDW 10-30-01!

Yesterday was another great day! Sunny and warm by the afternoon! I took off my sweatshirt and wore a t-shirt and shorts! Walked around WS yesterday! It doesn't open unitl 12 noon and I don't like that but oh well! It makes FW all the more crowded in the morning. Some things in FW don't even open until 10 AM. You can really tell the cutbacks! We have gone to 3 advanced wine seminars and yestaerday was Chalk Hill! Very good and you get 6 free glasses of wine to try! Also we took the Robert Mondavi tour "From vine to wine" very informative and more free tastings! We are really learning to appreciate wine! Also I am glad to be staying at the BC so I can "walk" back to the resort! LOLOLOL!


Robert Mondavi checked into the YC 2 nights agao and we got to see him. He was very nice and smiled and seemed very friendly. I guess wine will do that to you! Met a lot of nice people here but no green ribbons!

We went last night to V & A in the main dining room. I had some special requests for dinner and they went above and beyond what I expected! More about food when I get home to do the restaurant reveiws! I forgot to mention we had lunch in Norway yesterday and were very surprised at how good it was!

This is our 4th time at V & A and the servers recognized us and they took us into the kitchen to say hello to Scott the chef who remembered us and even asked were our DS was this time. We say the new chef's table and we told them we are coming back in Feb. with another couple and want to do the Chef's table. We were given a card and told to mention this gentlemen's name since they hold certain days of the week open for special guests and they would give us one of those days! Imagine that! We now rank as special regulars!!! lolol!

Well today is supposed to be 78 and cloudy so we are off to MGM! More later!! Thanks for reading this!

Thanks everyone for your kind responses. I just got back this afternoon after 2 wonderful weeks! I will doing a more extensive trip report this weekend and also food reviews etc. The weather yesterday on Halloween was 80 and partly cloudy. Today is supposed to be in the low 80's and they are expecting rain this weekend from Tropical Storm Michelle!

Yesterday we spent the day and evening in EPCOT. I can say it was the least crowded I have ever seen it! It was sort of like 10 years ago in Oct. when you could walk on everything and then walk and not see anyone for a time!!!! I guess people were in the NK or MGM or AK cauise they weren't in EPCOT! When we were walking out, Illuminations was going on and there were PLENTY of spots along the bridge by France!!!

Well, off to the offfice tomorrow! Look for my trip reports and pictures later!
