Live from Walt Disney World - Wrap-Up at Post 62

Why no Tuesday posts . . .

Monday evening DW started complaining of not feeling well, and I was not far behind. We slept on Tuesday morning, and tried to get going Tuesday afternoon, but didn't do too well. Was this this infamous, mysterious Orlando stomach virus? Sure ended up with all the symptoms!

It's early Wednesday and here's hoping for a for a better day.

Sure hope your feeling better today. Thanks so much for your great pics of your trip so far. We just got back last Wednesday from 10 wonderful days there and your pics bring us back and missing it very much. Hope the rest of your trip is magical. pixiedust:

Why take it easy don't rush, hope everything turns up ok today. Good luck!

Park just opened. Off to FP Everest!

DS & I have ridden Everest twice (DW decided at the last minute that she shouldn't due to her heart condition; after riding, I agree). Kali River, got soaked (6 ponchos back in the room!) Waiting for DW to finish PW, her consolation ride for ME. Oh, we did Flights of Wonder, too. Have Dinosaur FPed, then lunch, then afternoon break. Then Boma and EMH back at AK.

I am so glad that you are having fun!
I loved the mount Everest ride.
I wish that I could go back to see the Pirates Ride!
Is Captain Jack still there?
Not in the ride but the character greeting people?

No, we didn't see the Pirates outside.

Just finished a Mickey Bar. 2 minutes til our Dino FP!

this is so cool...almost like being there....can't wait for more.....thanks!

We survived Dino. Post ride, DS admires one of his favorite critters.

Our DS is half teen, half boy. Guess which one just wanted to spend a few minutes in The Boneyard?

Love Dinosaur. I never really appreciated it until just recently. But it can be authentically scary, if for nothing else the combination of darkness and VERY loud Dinosaur roars (especially that one carnotaur toward the end that stands up and then comes down, then UNLEASHING a huge roar).

That ride made me terrified of Dinosaurs, although the special effects were done beautifully I almost pee whenever I go on it. Not that I have any desire to ride the ride again everytime I go back, something about me makes me go on it. Maybe just to see if I get any braver...I somehow never manage to:)

Time to leave . . .

It's a beautiful day at Epcot! A little breezy; I understand that's a prelude to some rainy weather coming. Sorry for all you folks coming in as we leave tommow!

This morning we've enjoyed the Living Seas. And DS toured Innoventions West; it looks much better than we remembered from previous visits -- I think we've skipped it the last couple of times.

Our Soarin' FP is almost time. After that, lunch at the Coral Reef, then over toward MS and stuff on that side of the park.

Thank you for the great reviews - we leave in 23 days (and counting). Did you like the food at Boma and Primetime - we have ADRs at both?

S.Poppins,
Primetime - DW had the Pot Roast & veggies; I preferred it to my Sirloin Strip. DS had Chicken dish which was delicious.

At Boma, there's so much good stuff to choose from. I thought the Prime Rib was excellent. There is a carrot & ginger soup that DW & I both liked, and in the veggies that was a yam-based dish that was really good.

We get there tomorrow. Thank you for the posts and also the weather sympathies. Here's hoping that is somehow blows over.

Ann
