So - we're in for the night. T and I have been up for 18 hours, and we're close to turning in. I haven't been in bed before 10 in ages. So, this will be short and sweet.
1. Tuvalu. It's a hike, yes. But, the LV is fabulous, and it's very private. We'll definitely get our exercise in this week getting around, but we're up for the challenge when it means we get the view as the reward.
2. Cabana. If you can swing it, do it. If you book the half day, be prepared to not want to leave! Save yourself the heartache of someone else possibly having the other half, and just book the whole day from the start
3. Not to fuel the Lapu Lapu debate, but I had forgotten how potent those bad boys can be. I am determined to work my way up to more than one, but today, that was enough. I switched to my frou frou Disney drink of choice - the Pina Colava. Love 'em on DCL, love 'em at the resort. Love 'em a LOT when Heather is bringing them to me in the cabana
4. I did a jolly old piss poor job of photographs today, and all of these will be straight off my camera, with no editing. I'll try to do better from here on out, but don't expect editing
The fruit tray from the cabana. We did NOT manage to eat it all. But we tried:
The view. Honestly - there's been some debate on which has the better view, and it's all the same to me, between the two. We were in Kau, and it was great. I don't think Loa would be any worse, though the view of the pool might not be as great.
A few luau shots:
And:
Had a great time with our friends, whom we don't get to see nearly enough. Then they had to head out to finish packing up b/f they headed to their beach condo. Snagged this shot in between shots of the kids playing on the beach.
And then the storms started to roll in. These are all taken from our patio:
So - that's all from today. Tomorrow brings lunch at Whispering Canyon, possibly miniature golf at Winter Summerland, and dinner with Chef Mickey. The rest is up to chance!
