Just spent the evening at the MK to see Wishes, and Jim Brickman (along with Michael Bolton and I'm sure others) was filming a special for PBS that will air sometime in November/December according to CM's. They were set up right in town square, with a backdrop of the Castle and Main Street.
There were some folks sitting right in front of the train station that received tickets from PBS, and some lucky random folks also got to chosen to be in the audience. You could stand and listen in other areas around the square.
It was really neat to see - you could also tell how they film those TV specials - at one point, Michael Bolton sang a song, and then they filmed the opening banter to the song (with him and Jim only singing/playing a few notes leading into it), and then their rapport afterwards. Lots of breaks in between.
I did feel sorry for them - lots of lights, and everyone in long pants/shirts. It is so HUMID here!
Thought this group would be interested...
