Yesterday, Wednesday was our second park day. I thought the crowds would be a little less than Monday because it is a grad night and I think was one of the AP black out days. Boy was I wrong. It was busier than Monday.
We did MM on Wednesday and got a ton done in that hour which was great. Grabbed fast passes for later in the day. At about 10:30 we moved over to DCA to hit Toy Story and that was already at 45 min, so the kids did some other rides. Finally bit the bullet and got in line when it was at about 30 minutes. This is one of our favorite rides.
Headed back over to DL at about 3 after we ate a late lunch at House of Blues with our $2 certificate from restaurants.com. Had terrible service. Not sure if I would go back. Got back to DL to use our fastpasses that were collected earlier and found that Splash had the fast pass return line closed because the wait for that was 1 hour and the stand by line was 75 minutes. I over heard that Space was also closed so we decided to grab sweet treats for the night and head back to the hotel.
There were a lot of kids groups there celebrating their end of the school year (could tell by the shirts).
I was chatting with a lady in the entry line before MM and she commented about waiting in line for 90 minutes for WoC on Tuesday night. Not sure if that was to get a fast pass or what, I didn't ask because I wasn't thinking yet...it was early and to me it didn't matter because we have dinner ressies on Saturday.

I think DH & I have determined that DL is a 3 day park. For us I think in the future we will stick to WDW. Shorter flight and for us more to do.

Hoping to hit Aladdin today.

I go to DLR quite a bit (ok a lot) and I haven't seen everything in Disneyland and have only done about half of DCA. There are a lot of things I would have never known about if I didn't frequent the DIS boards. Glad you are having a good time. I heard Monday was pretty busy. Gonna be at the land Saturday, well half of it at least.

A few years ago my mom and I were at DL. My first ride of the day was BTMRR. I spoke with the woman behind me after the ride. She lived about eight miles away, was an annual pass holder and went something like at least once a week. Wow. I don't know if I could go as frequently as that and still have it be special. But I go about twice a year now and that never seems like nearly enough ;-).

Only when RDCT is playing ;)
