Hello All,
Sorry I've not posted yet. We got back yesterday.

Another superb trip. The GF was as beautiful and serene as always. We spent a lot of time at the pools and at DTD. We went to the parks three of the seven days. We took full advantaged of the evening EMH's.

The crowds picked up around the 4th.

And get this....my DW had a voicemail asking her to present at a conference at the GF in September! Can you believe that? (I did the same thing last October at the GF)
I guess I will have to tag along! :rotfl:

Tell me again when you going? Sheri I know you are going to the YC soon and Liz, you will be at several locations.

More to follow!

I was there the 4th thru the 7th @ the CR. What did you think of the crowds? I honestly didn't think they were that bad.

I waited 70 minutes to get on splash mountain on weds 7.6 but other than that I had either a 30 minutes wait or less on everything else.

I was expecting much worse!

Hi Liz,
You are really too kind. I appreciate your kind words as always. I try to stay positive and upbeat. :goodvibes Life is too short to be pessimistic and downtrodden.

As I read your post, it sounds like you might be staying a couple of extra nights at the GF, is that correct? 7 nights would be great...however, two extra nights would be even better! :rotfl:

I'll try to get to my dining reviews on Monday. I can't wait to hear about your extensive trip. Get an extra Spa Treatment for me! :teeth:

Talk to you soon!

I agree. We were at the GF from June 29 to July 8 and had a very relaxed pace. We only did the parks every other day and then utilized the evening EMH's. The crowds were moderate at every park with one exception. One night at MGM during the EMH's it was packed. :crowded: We still did everything we wanted but it took a while on that one night. Earlier in the trip we went to MK during the EMH and literally walked on everything!

On the 4th we spent the day at the pool and went to DTD. Then back to the GF to watch the fireworks. They were wonderful. Did you get a chance to see them? I hope you had a great trip!

Yes! They were the most incredible Fireworks I've ever seen. I was right on Main Street in MK watching them. They were so intense that my arm was covered in black ash!

Off Topic Somewhat: One of the Songs chosen for the Fireworks in Boston was the song from Illuminations!
