They announced the 2008 Member Cruise today. Sailing will be September 21st 2008. Another 4 day cruise on the Wonder. Booking day is November 17th I believe.

Some will already be booked by that day as anyone who adds on 250 points on this cruise gets a Cat 6 for 2 adults on the cruise and gets to wear a lanyard that says I'm booked 2008. We'll have to book the old fashioned way.

Those dates almost (very nearly, could possibly) work for me, maybe there's another MC in our future.

I believe you have to be on this cruise in order to get the next cruise.

I hope everyone is having a great time, but the marketing tactics on the last Member Cruise is one of the reasons we chose not to go this year. This just reaffirms my decision.

Yes anyone who is on this cruise and adds on 250 points gets a confirmed paid for reservation for next years cruise. They are the only ones who can book early. The rest of us will have to wait until November 17th.

I have only seen one sales pitch since I was here - and that was in the Walt Disney Theater and I went knowing it would include a pitch.

Other than that I have not seen, heard or even read any sales pitches or encouragements to add-on. Nothing...not a peep.

Yes, they did the sales pitch before the first CC day thing again, keeping us from disembarking until the sales show was over. I don't care for that, but if that's as invasive as it gets, they have learned to do it better.

They also did a voice mail message to all the cabin phones announcing the itinerary would be the same next year and 'reminded' about the 250 points gets you a free cat 6 cabin onboard for two. But that's all they've done this year and I really think it was a better experience overall. We will be on the phone Nov 11th for the next one
