Hi Alex, thanks for keeping us (the wannabees) up to date. You need to have a drink for all of us, too, and by my count you are pretty far behind. :p I'll have a Konk Kooler, please.

psst... don't tell Ann about the snow. I don't think last year's snow plow driver has ever been found. :scared:

HI! We just got off Saturday before you got on. If you see Phillip and George (our servers who were phenomenal), tell them Courtney, Andy and Debbie say hi! They made everymeal extra special. Also, Jonathan from the MErchandise team is the biggest doll ever!! He gave a few pins to my dd - think he took a shine to her!, gave us an anniversary gift and birthday gift to me. We miss the ship sooo much!! Gotta go again soon.

Well cruisers..we are in the new sports bar watching the new england game.. then formal nite :)

And what a great game it was! You must have loved watching all that snow fall, from the Magic. ;)
Keep the updates coming...and we want pictures!!!:teeth:

And after a formal nite dinner at Animators Palate.. I had a delicous duck and goat cheese flat bread, a parmesan crusted veal chop and the ice cream sundae.. all washed down with a nice bottle of Jadot Pouilly Fousse (sp?)
We are going to see the new show... Golden Mickey's!!!

Let us know what you thought of Golden Mickey's.

Golden Mickey's is the best show they have ever had! FAR better than the Disney dreams show it replaced. The cameo appearances by Roy Disney, Tim Allen and Angela Lansbury are a hoot, the music is great the cast is awesome..
only one problem...
it DIED 10 minutes before the end of the show!!!! Technical difficulties!! We never saw the end...they have promised to put on another one...
After that we had 70's nite.. pretty good show the cast was decent... just my opinion but I don't think the band they have on right now is as good as some I have heard and the DJ isn't doing a lot for me either.. they were both better on the cruise last year but that's a minor complaint!!

I thought that the Golden Mickeys were to replace Morty the Magician. What happened to that plan?

We saw Golden Mickeys Thursday, Mouseketeer on Sunday, and Disney Dreams on Monday. Looks like they are going to do the two biggest shows on the formal nights (Isn't Sunday Formal night on the Eastern?).

Anyways... They are not taking out Disney Dreams - too popular and well loved by CM's as well. Maybe they are just changing the rotation of the shows.

 Hi Alex! Sounds like you are having a MAGICal vacation! Please tell Michelle and Cathy that I said Hello!:sunny:

I was disappointed when I read what Alex wrote, that Golden Mickeys replaced Disney Dreams because I haven't seen Disney Dreams yet!! I'm glad it's not replacing it! If they do away with it, I hope they wait till next winter so I'll have a chance to see it in August :sunny:

Hi Alex :wave2: We're having a heatwave here in MA today....low 40's :p ;)

Now don't let Ann Morin find out because she might just have to cut her vacation short to get back to enjoy it!!!!

Blue skies, calm seas and lots of magical moments to the cruisers!

Rae

OK... I will admit I haven't looked at the whole schedule!!! Someone had told me that was being replaced and I didn't look into it...

Well true to their word they put in a matinee performance today at 2 for all of us that did not get to see the end. It was wonderful. I stood around and listened to the comments other people were making and I saw people leaving the theater with little tears...
The neatest part for me was that it is real Disney. It's starts and ends with Walt and a certain mouse being the focal point.
I really don't want to give too much away but I said it last nite and I'll say it again, one of the best shows they have ever put on, better than dreams...

We did Palo brunch today... OMG what a spread. I know I know some people want to complain about the ten bucks it costs but to me it is worth every penny. It has to be the best meal on the ship.
How many places give you unlimited Crab Legs, Shrimp (and not the little peel them yourself ones) smoked salmon... prosciutto... just an unbelievable spread. I think most people know what is there but if there is interest I will go into more detail

Palo Brunch...Oh to be there now!!!!!   In less than 250 days we will make our return!!!

Alex, A few more details about the brunch wouldn't bother me, how about you Andy? Although I'm alot closer to it than Andy is.;) Thanks

Steve

I'm glad I never saw those complaints. I'd like to know where anyone thinkgs they can get a brunch like that at $10.00 a head? Do they really think that nothing on the cruise should have extra charges? That's just unrealistic. Palo is not part of the regular rotation, making it optional. If you don't want to pay for it, don't go.
