Good Morning Campers!! How was your week?
Well, I must say it's been quite an eventful one for your humble chat hosts. After the unfortunate "accident" a couple weeks ago which left the Saturday Night Chat Institute Of Wine, Pizza, and Television Studies. nothing but a mass of charred ruins, we were subjected to a very harsh round of inquiries and interrogations from the local authorities. . .
First it was the Bald Knob Fire Chief, who made a very thorough investigation of the scene and issued a detailed report which said, "The place burnt up- some sort of fire most likely." And just as we were absorbing that stunning bit of information, the investigator from our insurance company, Mutual of Bald Knob arrived, and conducted another intense and nerve racking inquiry. . . then added his detailed report to the Chief's, which said said, "Yep. . . some sort of fire all right" Much to our surprise, he issued a large check that didn't bounce, and we added the money to the cash we'd made by betting on Screech in the last Celebrity Boxing . . .
We were quite pleased of course; but one problem solved only led to a second, more demanding dilemma- how to get the Institute rebuilt and functional in time for this weeks chat, so we could provide the quality cyber-drinking and hot-tubing experience our patrons have come to know and demand???
There was only one answer of course- we couldn't; no way! I mean come on people, we only had a week!! What are we, miracle workers?? Give us a break!! Sheesh!!
So we rented a PO Box under the Institute's name; Marla jetted off to Branson with Gilbert Godfried. . . and I spent the last few days at the Key Largo Holiday Inn with Maggie eating chocolate covered strawberries and watching a Toby Tyler film festival on WCAN (Washed-up Child Actors Network) . . .
. . .
It was a tough week; but every time the chips were down and things looked hopeless, we were able to draw strength from a motto we have here at the Institute: "Warning! This Product Not Meant For Human Consumption!!!" Words to live by indeed. .
Anyway, since we do have some extra cash this week, we thought it would be a good time to round everyone up and enjoy an old favorite of ours. . . So tonight, Disney After Dark will be heading to Epcot where we'll be killing some brain cells at the historic Rose and Crown!!!

That's right Campers; this little pub has been a home-away-from-home for us over the years, and has provided us with many wonderful, fuzzy memories. . .
It is a unique dining and drinking spot, filled with Old World charm, beautiful hand crafted wood work, friendly people, and lot's and lot's of beer. . .
As always, the food, drink and fun are on the house, and everyone is invited. . .so send your family off on a Snipe Hunt, fire up your computer, and join your chat hosts Marla and WillyJ. this Saturday night in the Main Chat Lobby at 9PM EST. It's a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to hang out with your fellow DIS'ers and get to know each other better in a relaxed, informal Atmosphere.
As always, general Disney or Universal questions are encouraged and appreciated, and there will be a room full of Orlando veterans there to help you out. . .
Everyone's invited, so see ya there!
