As I look out the window now it's starting to rain however it does not look serious, the Buses, Boats and Monorail's to the Magic Kingdom are going right now, so they have not yet closed the parks.

I happen to see a Cast Member in the Sundries store who remembers me from my previous stays and she asked me when the Vacation Club building opens would be buy into it? This was the same Cast Member who told me about the other changes to the Contemporary before they happened. The arcade moving, Concourse Steakhouse closing and etc. She also told me those things before they were announced, so take from that what you want. Besides that when I asked about the opening for Chef Mickey's Express she said hopefully it will be in late September.

I'm taking bets that the counter service will open on Oct 12th, why, because we check out on the 11th and that's the way our luck works!!!!

Hey CR Fan, thanks for posting the skinny on the new CS place. I was just looking at the photo thread and the king rooms look sweet. Do you know how many king rooms there are on the MK side of the tower?

You've got me dreaming on my lunch break. I can't wait to watch the ferries and monorail from my balcony once again. Have a great trip! I'm also curious about if you can get the Wishes music on your television. it seems to be hit or miss for people.

I always thought that Disney had a channel that was dedicated to playing fireworks music

Just back from the Premium Outlet Mall, Lake Buena Vista Mall and the Walmart. While it did rain it was not that bad and was nothing more then that.

What is the noise like from the construction on the 4th floor? Thanks!

The only thing that Fay brought was a lot of rain and nothing more, so there was no high winds and etc. I would expect the weather to look better by tomorrow. Besides that the construction noise has not been an issue and we are staying right over it and I can confirm Wishes music is being played on channel 20, which is the Contemporary information channel.

CR Resort Fan, have you heard any more concrete info on when they expect Mickeys Express to be ready? We'll be arriving Oct 24 and this is a big deal for DH.
