We arrived late afternoon on Sunday and have a room in Jamaica which is what we wanted. However, this is good news bad news. We are in the building farthest away from the bridge to the food court but the good part is that it is so quiet and peaceful over here. We are not far from the beach, quiet pool and laundry. No sports teams staying in this section. The room is clean but so far just the basics. No towel animals etc.... Sunday evening we did Epcot and yesterday was MK. Magic Kingdom was packed!!! When there is a 60 minute wait for It's a Small World you know it is busy! We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and friends which was wonderful. Good food (not excellent) but wonderful character interaction. Today is Animal Kingdom!

Hi, my wife & I will be staying at CBR the first week of May. Can you tell me how much it is to rent a paddle boat or canoe at the resort. Thanks.

Hi Disneylvr,

Hope you're having a great trip, I will be staying at CBR in july with my DD(12) please post lots of pics:goodvibes. How are the "Nemo" rooms? How was your check in? How have the cm's treated you? Sorry to bombard you with questions, just anxious myself:banana: Can't wait to read your trip report

I haven't been to the marina yet but I will check on paddleboat rentals the next time I am at Old Port Royale.

The room is identical to our room last year but I can tell they are not as fresh and new as they were right after the rehab. The CM's at the resort have been nice so far. Housekeeping has just been the basics, no towel animals or anything extra. Most importantly the room is clean so they are doing their job. We did request early housekeeping and they followed up with a message asking us if they did a good job etc....

It is cool outside but we are really wanting to swim. I think it is only 62 degrees. I know the pools are heated but once you get out, freezing!

we'll be there apr 30 - may 6 but which building/room sections should we hope for ... i reserved a standard room but if we get an upgrade, etc. - where would we want to be as far as bus routes ... (myself & my bf) - thanks!

Sorry, we do not use Disney buses so I can't help you with that. Sadly we came home yesterday from our vacation. Our first 7 nights were at CBR, Jamaica building #41, room 4111. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Although our building was quite some distance from Old Port Royale (we did have a car) I have to say we really appreciated our quiet location and were never bothered by noise even though the resort was at 100% occupancy. I can't say the same for our one night at All Star Music at the end of the trip. Both resorts had sports teams, marching bands, cheerleaders staying there but we hardly noticed it at CBR. Once again, can't say that about All Star Music.

I do think for our next trip we are going to either switch to another moderate (Port Orleans Riverside) or save for the next two years and go back to a deluxe. I love CBR and it will always be my favorite mod but their food court got old very quickly. especially for breakfast (YUCK!!!). I have to say as far as food quality and choices this is the one area that All Star Music had CBR beat.
