Just checked the NOAA site and Hillary is heading pretty much due west and you guys are heading southeast so each mile puts more distance between you and the storm.

Hope the seas quiet down and you have a fantastic time in port tomorrow. I bet DCL has excursions figured out by the time you make port.

Just popping in to say "HI" to you. I am planning a trip on the Queen Mary 2 on one of her trips thru the PC and will let you know when it is finalized. Hopefully we can meet up again Thanks to Kelli we had a wonderful time with you on her balcony in May. Had it not been for Kelli and her room, there would definitely be a void that day.

Cookies and travelling with the Magic as it comes home ...what a great idea!!

I tried 3 times to see the video and it won't work. I'll just close my eyes and remember how it was on the ship on 5/28 as we took the very first trip out of the port of LA. That was awesome!! Heck, I'll even pull out my pictures and look at them again.

Goofydad - your daughter is beautiful! Congratulations. I think it is time to upgrade my computerso I can see this video everyone is raving about.

Hi, Sandy!!! You sure pop up when I least expect it!!!!!! Thanks for word on Putra, and how he is doing! The hardest part about going on the Wonder in Jan is all "my" servers won't be there!!! (Btw, Alvaro is from Panama! And a GREAT guy he is!!! Roberto held the very first shirt race in Acapulco!!!)

Celeste, I will tell her....she was so surprised that another "local" was cruising with us!! She's visited Burlington a couple times since the cruise, but nothing serious....her granddaughter isn't doing well, though and she's pretty devastated about that....

To kinda try to keep this on topic, even though most of the cruisers must be having fun, and NOT using the internet.......Alvaro is a great pilot if you get him....but be sure to watch on deck 4 aft under the lifeboats for an "official" looking person, and its probably one of your pilots. They love to answer questions....can't wait to hear if you all get a book, and all about the goodies you get.

Also to all those who took photos THANKS a million, as well. I am outside the Cove Cafe and it is still windy but getting better. They had barf bags in the Walt Disney theater when we went in this afternoon to hear about Manzanillo. Apparently there is only one cast member on the entire ship that has been to Mananillo so they asked for our patience as they couldn't answer all our questions. I was disappointed that we couldn't stop in Cabo but there are certainly worse places to be during a hurricane than the Magic. The sun peaked through a little around 4:00 PM and seas were at 17-20 feet 3 hours ago down from 30 this AM. They did a good job of last minute planning for us today and all in all I can't complain a bit. They are offering 5 excursions for tomorrow, one sold out quite quickly but I was amazed they could do what they did for a port no one has been to. Our wine tasting had to be moved and we even got personal invitations tonight. Poor Tracy having to rearrange all that. Went to the cruise sales pitch today and still no word on 2007 cruises but she said they were told they would definitely be announced in October. She mentioned the Mediterranean, Alaska and back to California but didn't commit to any. They are offering a $500 credit for the 10 night only next September which may be what they've been offering but I hadn't seen that anywhere. Thanks to all for the good wishes.

Wow! That's pretty good, they announced the 10 and 11 nights on my cruise on August 5th and they weren't offering $500 then! So that sounds pretty good!!!!

I do know they had them set up, but dont know what they are..
one was a 4 hour island tour ???

Well at 5:45am we passed Cabo, Hurricane Hillary did not want us to visit the island and for the safety and security of the ship, crew members and guests we are heading away from the island. Yep that’s correct we have missed our first port. Tomorrow we will be going to Manzanillo instead. The mood on the ship is no longer exciting as many people are upset that our visit to Cabo is now cancelled. Also I know that some guests boarded the ship without their luggage and the luggage was being shipped to Cabo-I feel bad for those people! "
