Hi Everyone! So I've been super busy but It's time for an update
Yesterday I checked out of the Beach Club (which I loved - I think it is my new fav Epcot area resort!) and headed over the AK. I caught all the shows, Lion KIng, Flights of Wonder(which was sooo cute!) and the Nemo musical. Afterwards I grabbed lunch at Flame Tree and then decided to head over to the AKV to check in. My room wasn't ready so I decided to hang out in the lobby for a bit (the tree is awesome here!) and then met my cousin at teh AK to see the Jingle Jungle Parade which was good. After that I came back here and changed for dinner at Jiko. This is where teh excitement begins! So I sat at the counter since I was flying solo and who sits next to me but Joe the imagineer responsible for the AK!!! He's the guy who's always on the travel channel specials with the giant earing in one ear! He was so nice and we ended up chatting for an hour or so. I love Jiko anyways (food is amazing), but this time was extra special!!! I am very envious of his job working for the mouse lol After dinner I went over to the MK to see Wishes. The castle all lit up was amazing!
Wishes was of course amazing and then I came back here to the hotel to sleep! Ever notice that you get very sound sleeps in disney? lol must be all the walking!
Today I woke up early and met my cousin at the MK for breakfast at the Crystal Palace. This is where my ex fiance proposed so I thought it would be really hard for me once I was there, but I was surprisingly ok which was good. After breakfast we went to the Orlando Outlets to check out the discounted
Disney store there. I got a few little things for my dance kids back home (I own a dance studio so lots of hannah montana and High School musical!). After that we went to DHS. I saw One Man's dream for the first time and it was really good, then we did the great movie ride, and then grabbed lunch at 50's prime time. This was my first time dining there and I really liked it! After lunch we saw the block party bash which was cute (my dream is to be a Disney dancer!!!) and then I came back to the hotel for some down time and to rest my feet!! lol
Tonight was my
MVMCP night so I made sure to get to the Magic Kingdom by 5:45ish. I stuck around main st to see the lighting of the castle which was so good and then rushed right over to see Twas the night before xmas. I had to stand but the show was really good and I'm really glad I saw it! After that I grabbed dinner at Pecos Bill and watched some of the first parade pass by. Then I secured my spot for Holiday Wishes which was AMAZING! Best fireworks I've ever seen. THen I got a perfect viewing spot for the xmas stage court show (which I thought was much better than twas the night...although usually I'mpartial to anything near or on the castle). I was set up perfectly after that for a front row seat for the parade which is by far the best parade I've ever seen. All the floats were so pretty!
Ok but I'm sooo tired so I'm off to bed! The plan for tomorrow is Downtown Disney in the afternoon, Boma for dinner, then Fantasmic and Osborne Lights!
