I parked on the terminal side last March during my Magic cruise.

Andy - Great picture! It is beautiful! I'm sure they'll appreciate the screen shot.

LAMPSKIES -- Hope you and the Turkey Day gang have an awesome time on CC today. Please tell everyone I'm thinking of them and wishing EB and I were there with you! :teeth: Can't wait to hear an update from you or the gang.

LAMPSKIES - I didn't realize you were a fellow HOOSIER until now. Enjoy the warmth and the sunshine!

WOw! Great nighttime sailaway pic!!

Just wondering --why no Key West on this cruise? We are on 12/4 Western and looking forward to our day at Key West. Is this a one time thing?

Key West is closed to cruise lines this week...a big offshore racing boat event! It was impressive seeing the boats being trailered down to the Keys on I-95 this past week!

Lampskie, enjoy your trip!

sniff, sniff. This is the cruise we were supposed to be on but had to cancel. We went last year and had a blast.

Let us know about Bingo and shopping!

Regards

Keoni

Hi from the Magic!! So far everything has been wonderful!! Parking is on the terminal side of the street. You drive in, drop your bags w/ the porters and then park a few feet from the terminal. The terminal is beautiful. Pluto took pictures w/ the kids.

After you get on board, I recommend making Palo reservations and signing your children up for the Oceaneer's Club. We did that w/ no lines and then went to lunch at Parrots Cay. The cruise staff tries to encourage topsiders, but we didn't want to take our carry on luggage thru a buffet line.

The ship is decorated for the holidays. It is beautiful. This is our first time on the Magic and we are very happy!!

We have the APL rotation so we saw the show at Animator's Palate last night. It was cute!! However, we have late seating and there were many sleeping children in the restaurant!!

Today was our first stop at Castaway Key. It was beautiful!! The weather was great!! Parasailing was a blast!! Our son loved the program at Scuttle's Cove!! The chocolate chip cookies are great!!

Tonight my DH and I had dinner at Palos. Do not miss it!! the filet and the chocolate s. were outstanding!! We feel spoiled now!!

So far pilates and yoga are free.

The characters on board today included-Mickey, Pinnochio, the Queen of Hearts and Dopey.

If you have any more questions, please let us know.

Happy Holidays!!

I recall the stateroom TV having RCA jacks on the front. But I don't recall whether those were input jacks or output jacks. Would you please check for me?

A little help with this one, please?

Thanks,
Sam

Hey everyone!!!!!!! As Ice.....has stated the ship IS decorated for the holidays!! As far as port parking we took DCL transportation from BC.
Smchan.....I don't recall seeing "jacks" on the front of our T.V.

I did notice that some of the refridgerators are different....they my be upgrading. Our friends are in 6646 and have a "swipe pad" on there's and ours does not!! This is our fourh "land sea" in 4 years and by far has been the most perfect!!

We left BC Sat. at 11:30 and was able to see the "rocket" launch....what a site!! We get to port at approx. 1:00 and waited in line no more than 5 mins. thru security......yes my 48 miller lites in the carry on made it!!! When we went upstairs IT WAS PACKED!! If you a CC Club members don't forget to tell the CM before getting in line......they wisked us to the CC line and were checked in in minutes........the other lines were long......It was a perfect 81 degrees for the sailaway......

We met up with other "disers" at the sailaway and it is DEFINATELY a party group!!

*didn't want to time out*.......

Our rotation is LAP......Servers are wonderful as usual.....CC yeaterday was aperfect 83 and sunny......it was kind wierd seeing the CMs starting to put down the umbrellas at 2:30.....we sailed an hour early and I don't remember hearing the "horn warning" an hour before we were to board. Today is our day at sea....so I'll roam around and try to find more answers......

One more thing........when we got to CC the playgroung out in the water was closed. I thought maybe because of damage from the hurricanes. I was able to walk out to the playground and beyond. I was too shallow to let the kids jump in.....but at about 1:30 I noticed that they were on the fort.....the tide must have came in the water was back up to where I remember it!!! I wonder if some sand was moved in with the storms!!!

There's another thread going on about Movies. Is National Treasures playing this week on the Magic?

Was the terminal decorated for Christmas?

Enjoy.

The ship should look beautiful. I just got back from what I would call the "Christmas Decorating Cruise". Every day there was something new. I believe it was the second day when a lot of "that tree wasn't there yesterday, was it?" could be heard. Then the garlands went up, then the garlands were lit on one level, the next day they were all lit...you get the idea. It was kind of cool to see it in progress but I'm sure it was even better to see it all at once!

Last week our Navigator said we were sailing away at 5:15. We were packing in our cabin and ran up on deck at about 5:10 to see we had already pulled away. We never heard a warning either but we did have an inside cabin and were back on board pretty early (and I don't know why...I said I wasn't going to leave until the last possible minute!!!)

Don't know if this was mentioned, but Mickey was "on vacation" as far as the snorkelling trail went. Kind of disappointed with that as I had my underwater camera all ready!

It sounds like you guys are having a great time.
Iceman, thanks for finding out about the yoga & pilates for me. I'm glad to hear they are not charging a $10 fee anymore.
Have fun and please report when you have time.
Staci

Any luck on finding out if they still have the premier pin? I hate to bug you. Thanks

Fairygod mother...thanks for asking again I'll check tonight.....We aren't "pin people" but DD alli is getting into it this sailing I'll check.....

the water at CC seemed cold when you got in.....as it always has, but once used to it it was fine....you know, once past the 'critical zone'! LOL

We had this AWSOME drink at the ber here by the internet cafe.....crushed spearmint leaves, pineapple, and citrus vodka.......WOW!!!! I'm going to get me another..........
