Yeah and didn't you have like half the ship linked to your dining reservation??? :rotfl: I was pretty sure that everyone who had late dining was sitting at your table.

Jeff

I can't take credit for the linking. That was handled by Willie and Lampy, and it worked out great. Except for the part where Willie got a little carried away and put Lampy's DW at another table so he could have him all to himself. :rotfl2: Not real subtle, there Dubbya.

Dubbya also set up a nice brunch for a group in Palo.

BTW Dubbya, I have heard some things about a new cowboy movie called Brokeback Mountain that sort of sounds like it is based on your relationship with Lampy. I am not sure if it is supposed to be based on a true story or not. Let me know if you recommend seeing the movie (I am sure that you will go and see it)

Can you tell me where you had this photo taken?

I thought that it was taken at the Margaritaville in Orlando, but I visited there over Christmas break, and did not see this sign anywhere.

I actually was planning to take a photo for something to post here, but danged if I could find that sign.

If it was taken in Orlando, where the heck was this thing?

Sorry, TCD, I won't be going to see that one. I don't care for "love" stories. :rotfl2:

That WAS at the Orlando Margaritaville. But it is in an area for preferred ParrotHeads only. Just kidding. It IS easy to miss, though. It was outside the restaurant, kind of around where the entrance to the gift shop is, I think. We stumbled across it by accident. I almost bought me a Margaritaville Adairondack Chair while I was there, but I could not figure out how to carry it on the cruise, then on the plane home with me. Maybe I will visit the one in New Orleans this year. We usually make a run over there during the summer. And New Orleans is already begging for tourism. TCD, if I remember right, you guys used to visit there often, too?
Most of the French Quarter is reopened, now.

You know, now that I think about it, the sign was on a temporary wall, possibly with construction going on behind it. They may have completed the construction. And taken down the wall.

Not to get any flames started here, but I'm glad no one was around when Rob saw the reviews on TV as to what the movie was about. (pulling cotton out of my ears.) :rotfl: Not poking fun at anyone, just some reactions.

Andrew - PM me about the t-shirts that you had printed up. I mentioned it on my next cruise board and they are all for it. Thanks a bunch.

I wanted to brag on my son. This is his first time snorkeling.

Dubbya-

You are right, I have made several trips to the Big Easy.

It started with a group of guys making an annual trip to see the Buc's play the Saints. We used to get a pretty good deal on Southwest Airlines, and some cheap hotel rooms and have a good time.

Then, we went with couples for quick trips to celebrate 40th BD's and that type of thing.

We were actually planning to go in October for the Florida/LSU game, but Katrina took care of that.

I'm sure the DW would be up for a visit to New Orleans sometime next Fall (we have been in the Summer, and brother it is hot there!)

There were a bunch of the hand painted chairs in Orlando-I didn't realize that they were for sale. You definitely need some of these for your ranch.

Tonya- Great photo! This must have been taken on an excursion. The water actually looks clearer than the water on CC, and that is not Disney's gear. So where were you all snorkeling?

TCD

Andrew-

Actually that last one was at CC. We went on the afternoon catamaran (?). We brought our own gear, it was nice. I must say thanks to my bosses. They paid me overtime during bankruptcy season and I used that to buy my equipment. Trey could always find me I was the only one with yellow fins.

This one is from costa maya.

Willie took this of me at (Mahajaual) Tequila Beach. This was my first open water snorkeling experience. I have to say im COMPLETELY hooked. Im looking forward to taking the Eastern Cruise so I can snorkel more.

In the interest of helping the Big Easy recover from Hurricane Katrina, I propose a Turkey Reunion there this year. It may even be tax deductible as hurricane relief! . Not that I would take an improper deduction or anything :rolleyes1

who would be in?

Count us in!

I have found that my girls don't care too much for New Orleans. The Audobon Zoo and Aquarium are pretty cool. But I don't think they have rounded up all of the animals yet. (Really)
And when Kelli and I go, it is usually to get AWAY from our ANIMALS for a quick weekend!

Willie

I'm bookmarking this in my favorites page!

I haven't been to New Orleans since 1991. Rob and I have talked about going to Vegas for years, but this would be more fun. Rachel would like her aunt to stay with her. (She knows she could probably get away with a lot, LOL!)

Willie-

I've never been to New Orleans and have always wanted to visit. We would love a turkey reunion!! However it would be very difficult to get away without the "Masonator"!! Chucks parents live in Baltimore (when they are not visiting during this holiday season), my mom passed away 8 years ago and my dad is 82 years old--not interested in taking care of a very active 6 year old for an entire weekend!!

I might have missed a post on when you booked for next year- I think the last thing I read was that you were looking for week after Thanksgiving- are you still going with that? Pam
