Geeez. We fell down to number four on the trip reports page! I actually had to do a little work this morning. It looks like everybody else must have tried out Laurie's cookie recipe!

How is the weather in everybody's neck of the woods. It is 79 and sunny here!


The weather reminds me of a Friday afternoon a few weeks ago. Let me see, I think I was on Castaway Cay, yes that's it.

Anyway, it was time for our annual banana boat ride. We had not made reservations, but took a walk over to the boat beach to see if we could catch a ride.

So, who do we run into? The Lampy family!

We got to ride Lampy's banana! (Man, that sounds wrong doesn't it!)

Anyway, here is the obligatory photo:

Those are two of the TCD DD's on the front of the boat (I'm not saying banana any more). I got to sit right behind Lampy.

Well, it was a wild ride, as I'm sure you might have suspected. The lady next to me was scared to death and was crying. Lampy was bouncing like a kangaroo! Luckily. no one fell off.

Man, I wish I was back there!

I didn't know you had a brother in Iraq. I will be seeing my kid brother (US Navy) this weekend for the first time in about six months. These men are fighting to protect your right to say what ever you want to say about the French or any one else who wants to mess with the U.S. of A.

O.K., republican Ron here...GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!! Where else can a "south side" Chicago boy who grew up the eldest of 5, son of a steelworker, surviving on hamburger, mac and cheeze and powdered milk most of my childhood be able to grow up (well you know what I mean ), take not only one but 5 DCL cruises, live where I live and drive what I drive....yes, with just a couple of years college education? Well, that does it for me then. I am going to have to go back on the Magic. I never had a Mojito! For the record, I did have at least one drink of day every day, but no Mojito. I apologize for disgracing my fellow Turkeys.

I won' t mention to Dan that you guys (well Kris, I guess) found a "baby" pix of him BUT.............................. I do have to comment on the following regarding Mr TCD's post
(pix of speedo didn't copy over here and I am way tooooooooooooooo tired to go try again!)

There is no way that I would EVER, EVER, EVER believe this statement- "we were unpacking" not for one second do I think that Mr, TCD, Esq. (mind you) would take time away from board "talking" to help UNPACK MRS. TCD's suitcase - man, that is really, low when you stoop to saying you did that (you are implying that you did the unpacking while she uh - was like what "popping bon-bons and watching the O show???) Now maybe, just maybe, that speedo was in the laundry room waiting to be washed and you "happened" to see it there, but NO WAY do I believe YOU, unpacked her bags..........naw............ don't you of all people know there are regulations and stuff for not telling the truth, nothing but the truth

Abel- I think I know what you are doing wrong. As you know, I fixed your file name, and got the photo posted, but let me help you out so you can post some more photos.

It looks like you copied the file name from the box marked "Tag." instead of the box named "Img."

When your photo is loaded into photobucket, you see an image of it, and beneath it are three boxes, which are marked: Url, Tag, and Img. You want to highlight the file name for your photo in the box marked Img (you should be able to do this with a left click), and then copy that whole file name (with a right click). The file name should begin with

. Then you paste that file name into your post. It looks like you almost did it right, but you can see that your "Img" doesn't have the right kind of brackets around it. I think you copied the name in the Tag box.

Try it again with another photo. I'll bet you have some good ones.

BTW is that Mrs. Abel there in that photo with Pikey?


Also, I don't think you should call yourself Abel the lurker. You are no longer a lurker. How about Abel, tfl. That stads for Abel the former lurker.

Dubbya- What is the level below steerage? That's what I'm going to need. We were already in steerage on the Turkeyday cruise. Remember, we got "upgraded" to the Bubba suite. I even posted a photo of me looking for the suite:

You will enjoy steerage. Ask for the suite on Deck one with the verandah. I didn't even no that these existed until Lampy told me about them. You like to fish don't you? It was easy to fish from the Verandah since we were so close to the water surface.

Here is something cute that I meant to mention earlier.

When you quote somebody else's post and there is a photo in it, the text name for the photo shows up.
