Abel- I sent you a private message w/ my e-mail address. See if you can send the photo there.

The file name that you used looked wrong. I tried to fix it here:

DSC01000.jpg

This is what it should look like.

OMG! Is that Pikey? Great photo Abel.

I think you are highlighting the wrong file name on photo bucket. I just fixed the name a little, and your photo worked!

Oh yeah, I can tell this was from our cruise because I see Laurie and Davis dancing in the background. Man, what a couple of party animals. They don't seem like the wild type at all! ;)

W, amen...

We eat Freedom Fries in our house!

Now if I could get some more of you all to remember history when shopping for a new car...

and that also will help Lampy keep his "soda" machine bill paid. :rotfl2:

Important News..... From Santa Claus:

I regret to inform you that, effective immediately, I will no longer serve the States of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas on Christmas Eve.

However, I'm certain that your children will be in good hands with your local replacement, who happens to be my third cousin, Bubba Claus. His side of the family is from the South Pole.

Differences such as:

2. Instead of milk and cookies, Bubba Claus prefers that children leave an RC cola and pork rinds [or a moon pie] on the fireplace.

Sincerely Yours,

Santa Claus

Maybe RC Cola is still popular in other southern states, but in Texas the drink of choice is Dr. Pepper. (In our house especially.) Also, one year we wondered if Santa (or Bubba?) was craving something salty for a change, so we left him a bowl of chips with hot sauce (or salsa, for those of you who don't eat as much Tex-mex!)

I won' t mention to Dan that you guys (well Kris, I guess) found a "baby" pix of him :rotfl: BUT.............................. I do have to comment on the following regarding Mr TCD's post
A-HAH!

That would explain why I found this in Mrs. TCD's suitcase when we were unpacking:
(pix of speedo didn't copy over here and I am way tooooooooooooooo tired to go try again!)

There is no way that I would EVER, EVER, EVER believe this statement- "we were unpacking" not for one second do I think that Mr, TCD, Esq. (mind you) would take time away from board "talking" to help UNPACK MRS. TCD's suitcase - man, that is really, low when you stoop to saying you did that (you are implying that you did the unpacking while she uh - was like what "popping bon-bons and watching the O show???) Now maybe, just maybe, that speedo was in the laundry room waiting to be washed and you "happened" to see it there, but NO WAY do I believe YOU, unpacked her bags..........naw............ don't you of all people know there are regulations and stuff for not telling the truth, nothing but the truth :teeth:

Anyway, here is what I do and, by the way, I do get paid for it:

I don't do as many of these as I used to -- but last year I paid for our WDW vacation and Wonder cruise with my earnings :)

Kris

Kris~Your work is wonderful! What a transformation!!! Just beautiful! How long does it take you to do one of those?

OK, back to the reason for this thread. Disney cruising. Did anybody check out the thread that Buddybear started about the Magic going to the Med? I posted there that France will not get my vacation money, and brother it started a,.... it started a,...... well what is a French word for a bunch of liberals trying to say that the U.S. is just as bad as France, the French are great people, ignorant, inbred Americans insult the French on the ships, blah blah blah...... Gosh, I have never heard so much whining.

Then Moderator Sue Ellen posted to just talk about the subject, not politics....But don't y'all think that the politics of a country should be considered when you are thinking of GOING there?
I have met many French people that I thought were terrific. But brother, their country's stance on terrorism sucks. And I would not want to spend my vacation dollars there, beautiful country or not.

Or am I just a red neck, ignorant American? (With a kid brother in Iraq)

W
You're a GREAT redneck American, W!! And these two southern Rednecks believe in your stance as well! My brother returned from Iraq after 18months a different person... I was just glad to have him home!
We actually would like to see some other countries that are on the Med. Like Italy, Spain & Greece!!! If it's all about France, then thanks, we'll just fly over the small pond to do our own sightseeing!

Dubbya- Having had the pleasure of meeting you in the flesh, I can attest to the fact that you are not a red neck or ignorant.

You are a good old boy and a patriot!

I didn't know you had a brother in Iraq. I will be seeing my kid brother (US Navy) this weekend for the first time in about six months. These men are fighting to protect your right to say what ever you want to say about the French or any one else who wants to mess with the U.S. of A.

God Bless America!

TCD

Thanks, T,
Sometimes I wonder if my predjudices cloud my thinking. But I am passionate about being patriotic. As a fact my office sits beneath the largest American flag in the area, on top of a 75 foot flagpole. And I have a sign on my computer that has a flag and says " September 11, 2001... I will not forget!"

Glad you are gonna get to see your brother. My brother did 20 years in the Navy building mines.(bombs) Now he is retired from the Navy, and working for the private sector doing essentially the same thing in reverse.
In the years he was in the Navy, there were times we did not see him for 2 or three years. It was tough for my mother.

Dubbya- I have a 9/11 Never Forget plate on the front of my American automobile!

My baby bro is closing in on 20 years in the Navy. He is the one my Momma is proud of (it couldn't be me after all). He graduated from The United States Naval Academy back in 1986, flew aboard EA6B's in the Gulf War, and then was encouraged to leave the service when Slick Willie was prez. He used that time to go to law school (it is a family tradition), and then re-joined the Navy as a JAG officer. For the last two years, he has been the head JAG officer aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, which is permanently based in Japan. His office is literally on the ship. Where the ship goes, he goes. This summer he will be transferring to Jacksonville, FL, which is great! He hasn't seen any family for the last six months, and he is coming home this weekend!

OK, Laurie, so when you guys get a little liquor in you, you loosen up a little?

I was just surprised to see ya'll out and about in the photo, since it seemed like you guys turned in early every night.

There wasn't any other mojito induced "playing hard" going on that we don't know about, was there? ;)

Speaking of Pikey, and of Dan, take a look at this photo:

legs.jpg

This is a photo taken at the beginning of the Disney legs contest on the first sea day of our cruise (Monday). Pikey had not yet met the Dis gang, and I think was a little shocked at how the competition went. Basically, he lost control of the whole thing and we took over. Here, I am showing Pikey my Lion-o claw move. He had just commented on my classic Thundercats t-shirt, so I gave him the claw move. As those of you who were there know, this was followed by a display of my excellent gymnastic skills, including numerous cart-wheels, a back flip in to the pool, and the classic swan dive from the roof of the gazebo covering the hot tub. Lampy basically cavorted around and scared the poor young female judges by showing portions of his white skin under his bathing trunks, and Doogie displayed some of the dance moves that were soon to make him famous. The other two guys were non-Dis'ers, and didn't really do much, although one guy did have impressive chicken legs!

Anyway, is that Dan up there on Deck 10 watching the festivities? I think so!
Can you confirm this please, Bev?

P.S. Please be sure to take note of the look of fear in Pikey's eyes. He knew that things were getting out of control!

The Turkeys Rock!

Dubbya-

That is exactly the photo I was looking for. I needed it as evidence for another one of my presentations. Thank you.

So, Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Exhibit A:

And, now please carefully examine Exhibit B:

Well, there is no doubt about it, is there? Lampy, did you visit England about 23 years ago? Congratulations! It's a boy. Pikey is really Lampy Junior!
