Live from SSR--SSRMonkey!

Koala and I are back from the AWESOME MNSSHP, but Mom and Dad said I have to go to bed and am only allowed to post one picture. I'll be sure to give a detailed report in the morning! Happy Halloween!

They actually look worried. Too funny!

Koala and I have sufficiently recovered from our evening out! We had such a great time, I'm not sure where to begin.

We started out trying to collect all the candy we could. There were a lot of candy stations and they were giving out a ton of great candy...except Mary Janes. I hate those. I offered them to Captain Hook, but he said he didn't like them either. So I gave them to the crocodile.

After going through Adventureland and Frontierland, we went to Fantasyland and rode the Pooh ride. After that we went to Toontown for some more candy! The Mad Hatter's treat trail was awesome!

That took us over to Buzz Lightyear's Spaceranger Spin. This is usually my best game and I've been known to end up as a Cosmic Commander on more than one occasion. Last night, however, Koala turned the tables on me with his highest score ever.

I think it had to do with the super powers he got from his costume. Due to the obstructed vision from my costume, I scored an embarassingly low score--similar to what Mom usually scores.

After that we went to the Laugh Floor which was in top form. Then we got a prime seat for the fireworks. They were so cool. I don't think I've seen fireworks quite like that before and I'm not sure how they time everything so perfectly.

We tried to get some pictures with characters, but the lines were too long. I did get this nice shot of the Dwarfs.

Although things really cleared out we thought we should try to find a spot to watch the parade. Not before picking up some popcorn in this awesome Mickey container!

DSC02124.jpg

It seemed like the parade was a little late, so Koala had some time to shake his Laffy Taffy.

I wasn't sure I wanted to be a dragon anymore, so I tried on Mom's Minnie ears. That turned me into a mini dragon--hahaha.

DSC02129.jpg

The Headless Horseman started the parade, but he was so quick I couldn't get a good picture of him. Finally the parade made it down Main Street.

DSC02134.jpg

It was an awesome parade led by Mickey.

DSC02145.jpg

Tigger and Piglet moved really fast, but I loved this picture of Eeyore!

DSC02156.jpg

The parade even included the animatronic freak show (aka Country Bear Jamboree) on wheels!

DSC02250.jpg

A pirate wench tried to take me home--luckily her pirate friend said no! And Aladdin wondered if I was Abu dressed up for Halloween.

We wandered around Main Street for a bit after the parade, but then decided it was time to head home.

Koala wanted to check out all his loot.

All in all it was a great evening and we were so glad to be able to have gone!

Today we are headed to Epcot. We'll see what kind of trouble we can get into!

Awww you and Koala looked like yall had a great time. Now don't eat all that candy at once. You don't want a tummy ache. :rotfl:

I absolutely love your costumes SSRMonkey and Koala! You looked adorable. I'm glad you had such a fun time at the party. I can't wait to read about your adventures today.

We had a day packed with fun today. We went to Epcot first thing this morning since we hadn't spent much time at all there this week. We went to Innoventions and learned about inflation from this big pig. As a general rule, I don't like pigs much, but this one was very informative and didn't smell bad.

I signed up for a new dating service. There aren't too many monkeys around where I live and match.com's personality profile didn't accept "flinging poo" as a legitimate hobby, so I had to try something.

Since I didn't get enough sleep last night I was kind of grumpy this morning and Koala kept asking me what my problem was.

DSC02354.jpg

After that we went to see Figment again. I got my first warning from security today for trying to change the skunk smell canister to fresh baked cookies. Lucky for me, the security guard really liked cookies too, so he understood and just let me off with a warning.

Mom and Dad's travelling companions had to leave, so after they rode Soarin, we headed back to SSR, but I really didn't want to leave.

DSC02359.jpg

Lunch consisted of a Wetzel's Pretzel! Dad took a nap and Mom went to DTD for a bit. Then we headed back to Epcot. We got FP for Test Track and since we had FP from Soarin left over from this morning we went there. After that we went to the World Showcase. Koala stunk up Canada.

DSC02361.jpg

Then we decided we needed to get some food, so we went to Beaches and Cream, one of my favorite places. I still couldn't get Mom and Dad to order a kitchen sink, but I did have a really yummy sundae! Then Koala and I sat on the beach for a bit.

DSC02362.jpg

We had a run in with a duck. This is me quacking at him.

DSC02370.jpg

I was trying to get him to go away. He got a little too close for comfort. I finally got him to leave by telling him how much I really love down pillows.

I really wanted to paint in Paris, but there wasn't a canvas available. Maybe next time.

Koala took a nap in Morocco.

DSC02386.jpg

He was very excited to see that Australia finally had some representation in Epcot. He was disappointed, though, that there was no Fosters beer available.

DSC02387.jpg

To get away from the crowds for a bit, Koala and I hijacked this Coke truck.

DSC02391.jpg

I worked on my ventriliquism skills, I'm performing with Jeff Dunham in a couple of weeks.

DSC02393.jpg

Koala and I made our way to Mexico, but had a few too many samples of wine from the Food and Wine Fest. We got a little silly and put on these hats and started singing 99 bottles of Mr Pibb on the wall...

We have had a really great trip, but unfortunately we have to head home tomorrow. I actually miss my evil cat Chloe and know that Mom and Dad have to go back to work so we can come back again soon. I hope you have enjoyed my adventures as much as I have. SSRmonkey signing off.

Love your TR SSRMonkey! Looks like you had an amazing trip! Hope you had a safe trip home!

I'm so sorry you are going home soon. We've enjoyed your trip report over the last several days!

I love your trip reports- a few weeks ago I was thinking about that monkey-and here you are!

Manntra directed me over here and I gotta tell you Monkey - you make me miss my home resort of SSR. Your pictures are fab. Really entertaining!

Thanks for another great TR. When are you and Koala heading back?

Mom and Dad just booked for May! I can't wait! Koala said he's going to start tanning now, but I educated him on the dangers of tanning. He's agreed to do a spray tan instead, so we'll see how that works out. See you in May!

Great TR! Your pictures and captions are so funny. Looking forward to May's TR.:goodvibes

I'm so sorry I missed it live! Loved it, will look for you in May!

Great TR SSRMonkey.
Pity about the Fosters beer....but then again, maybe Mum and Dad may not have let you try some as I think you might still be under the age limit in the US.
I have to say that I thought Koala looked a little sad....perhaps he was missing the Fosters. Might need to send a SkippyRoo over to perk him up...

Looking forward to your trip in May.
