Live from Kidani, and man is the pool cold!!!

Live from Kidani,

First time here. The room is great. 4th Floor near the lobby elevators. The animals are incredible.

The first decent day since we got here and went to use the pool. The water was FREEZING! Apparently, the pool heater broke down and started fire at 5am two nights ago. No heat in the pool. Hot tubs were hot but the pool was 72 degrees. The kids swam a little and made the best of it, but I wasn't going in past my ankles.

The said parts had to be ordered and it likely wouldn't be back in service until Saturday.

Yikes, that is cold! When we were there at the end of January the pool was 82 degrees. I found that a bit cool given the air temperature was in the mid 70s with a bit of a breeze. I hope they fix the pool heater soon!

They have been open for 9 months and the pool heater already broke down?? sheesh! I'm guessing this doesn't happen often or else they would have had extra parts on hand.

Yikes, I was thinking of swimming when get there on Thurs....Think I'll relax in the hot tub instead

When I stayed there last, it was less than 3 weeks after they opened and the hot tubs never worked.

Ugh. We get in on Thursday as well with two little guys (4yrs+22months) who can't wait to swim. I'm hoping they overnight the thing.

Wow...we only got 1 day in the pool because of the weather last week...guess I should be glad it wasn't cold then!

I loved the pool when I was there last November. You could always HOP somewhere else, evenh though it could be a pain.

Just came back from Jambo House on saturday. I would say you should hop on the bus to Jambo House and use their pool. It just opened about 2 weeks ago and its perfect..
