We are going again(3rd time) turkey cruise! in a few weeks!

Today is a rather relaxing day, you gotta love sea days!
We slept in a bit and Rob ran up to Topsiders and grabbed us a mini-breakfast.

Went up to Palo for our Brunch reservation. We waited about 15 minutes before we were even helped. Finally we were seated in Zita’s section and she showed us all the food stations. We went straight for the chocolate dipped strawberries and fruit salad and chocolate croissants LOL!

We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the beef tenderloin.

We are very plain food eaters and most of the offerings were not very appealing to us. They had so much food, I am sure this would be a great experience for people who love new and different foods.

I did, however, try the caviar since I have never had it before. As suspected I did not enjoy but at least I can say that I finally have tried it!

The tenderloin was delicious as was the pizza but very very strong too.

Rob ordered the dessert pizza. He said he liked it but it was a very different taste, it didn’t appeal to me.

We tipped Zita extra and took back some chocolate dipped strawberries to our room.

I u/l yesterday’s trip report and let Rob rest for a few hours. I went up to deck 9 to see the ice carving, which was great! I stopped in at the Spa to ask about those new areas. They said they should be open tomorrow but I could only take photos if I was actually doing the treatment. So, no pics…sorry.

We tried our luck at the final bingo game since it was over $4500 but we left empty handed. It was fun though!

On the way back to the room we stopped at Pluto’s for some lunch and brought it back to the room. Rob was feeling kinda crummy again so rested a little bit more.

We watched the sunset from our verandah and then off to WDT for Disney Dreams, which is a beautiful show.

Rob did some shopping while I ran upstairs to get ready for Formal Night dinner. We got a photo done on a plain background and then walked over to the atrium. We spotted the Captain all alone so I asked him if I could take a photo with him & Rob he graciously agreed. He looked at Rob and said “So how many hits do you have now??” LOLOLOL

Ooookay, didn’t know the captain was reading our trip reports! LOL Apparently, he has been reading them since before we got on board! HAHAH!

Off to Parrot Cay for Semi-Formal night. Okay, now I don’t mean to complain but this was the worst menu. I suppose if you really like seafood, this is your night but there wasn’t even a beef entrée tonight! And it wasn’t just me either, Jeannine said hers was okay but Moose didn’t like his Turkey and Rob for the first time really didn’t like something! The rice that came with the Lobster was gross!! Moose HAD to try it after seeing Rob’s funny face after he tried it, Moose said it tasted like a new car smell…??LOL

My chicken was yucky as were the potatoes that came with it. However, all was not lost as I spotted my cheesecake on the dessert menu!! I have been waiting for this moment for 3 years!!!!!!!! The amaretto cheesecake was my FAVE dessert on our first Disney cruise and I have been craving it since!! It was as good as I remembered it! YUM!!!!!!!!

We hot tubbed and dipped in the pool (okay, well Jeannine and I did) then we started packing. We ordered some chicken tenders (always good!) from room service and finished up my post.

I don’t know if I will be posting tomorrow as apparently, we only have 5 minutes left of internet which is such a crock since we have only used it MAX 20 minutes per day! We got 250 mins for $100 and we log in and log out and disconnect when we are done. I type up all my trip reports in Word (including the photos links) and then just connect and upload my photos (2 mins max) and then copy & paste into my thread. It takes Rob about 2-3 minutes per day to upload and download his mail so I figure we have used about 150 minutes MAX!!! But on our receipt after we log out, it said today that we only have 5 mins left! Grrrrr.

And after paying $100 for internet, I am not going to be paying an additional $.75 per minute !!!

Hopefully we get to dock at CC tomorrow.

Anyway, on a personal note, we want to wish Rob’s Dad a Very Happy Birthday Today!!! Thanks for taking care of our puppers!

Thanks again everyone for following our adventures. Wish we could bring you all along on the cruise, it really is a great vacation for everyone!!!!

Wow! Great reports! I especially loved you guys hamming it up in the pics with the food, signs, etc. Cass, that's a lovely shot of you with the sunset on the verandah. And you were all gorgeous on the formal night. What's it like to be celebrities, with even the captain reading your reports?

How cool that the captain had been reading your reports, Do you think that's how come your gift turned up in your room at the start of the cruise? I just hope that any issues you have commented on can now be improved on, seeing as we know the right people have read it
