Ditto all the raves on your posts... I feel like I'm on vacation there too.

:flower:

Morning everyone! Sorry I was way too tired last night to post.

Docked early at the Crown Bay Pier in St. Thomas. We were up at 6 am yesterday to go through immigration which was nice and easy.

day15-1.jpg

Went to Topsiders for some breakfast which was a thousand times better than Parrot Cay!
We took some chocolate croissants to go and then went back to bed for a couple of hours.
Woke up, got ready and headed down to Sessions which was the meeting place for our Screamin’ Eagle Jet Tour. We had to sign our life away on a waiver before they would let us go…we got Mickey stickers for our group and then went down to deck 1 to get off the ship.

We drove all the way over to Havensight which took us 30 minutes since there was so much traffic near the Havensight Mall area. We boarded our Jet Boat and were told that if we had anything that we didn’t want to get wet to leave it at the pier with the owner of the boat. Hmmm, you see I didn’t have time to do any research since we changed to the Eastern and I had planned for the Western, the only thing we knew about this tour is what was in the Excursion booklet, which said “You may get wet”. Hmmmm this is sooooo wrong. You WILL get wet and you WILL get soaked!! It was great though. We speeded out to where no other boats were and did some 360’s left and right and then we stopped, which of course made a huge tidal wave over the top of our heads LOL!! We did this for about 40 minutes and then returned back. We were going pretty fast and by the time we were close to the dock again we were drying off a little so he did 2 stops and 2 turns really quickly, you know, just in case anyone had some DRY spots LOL!!

We were dripping wet when we got off and then took our taxi ride back to the Magic (only 12 mins back since all the traffic was heading in the opposite direction)

By the way, it was SCORCHING HOT in St. Thomas today!!! 38 freakin degrees celcius!!!!

day15-4.jpg

day15-5.jpg

We took a shower and dressed in some DRY clothes and headed up to deck 9 for some lunch at Plutos. This was VERY good!! Yummy chicken strips, good hot dog and a good chicken sandwich!!!
day15-6.jpg

Rob needed some ice cream so we got some from Goofy’s Galley. The ice cream is just to the left of the Galley.

day15-8.jpg

day15-9.jpg

He also got some fruit at Goofy’s and we watched us sail away from St. Thomas

day15-7.jpg

We watched the sunset from deck 4 in those comfy blue chairs and then bought some photos from Shutters.

day15-10.jpg

We got some great photos done on Pirate Night, one of which became our favourite of the whole trip. It was the one with a plain white background, which looked great with our red/white/black costumes! The photographer who does this one is so nice, she’s very soft and quiet and has a nice accent. She always asks people if they want to pose a certain way like “Do you want to get on your tummies??” things like that so when she asked Rob “Do you want to get on top of her?” Rob was a little shocked and just looked at her then smiled really big and said “Oh yeah! I want to get on top of her!!!” LOLOLO

So he got on top of me while I was on my tummy, took his sword and was acting like he was about to cut my throat. It was great!! We plan on framing that one when we get home. I will scan it when I get home too so you can all see it.

We got ready for supper and then went down to the Ventriloquist Show in the WD Theatre. He was okay, a little cheesy but the finale was great. He had audience members using his puppets while he did the voice, this was SO funny!!

I grabbed a virgin strawberry daiquiri in Preludes yum yum!!

day15-11.jpg

We went over to Studio Sea to play ‘Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer’, which has TOTALLY changed since the last time we played! You all get numbers at the beginning and then the computer randomly picks a number. There’s only 5 questions with TWO lifelines. You get a crystal figurine type thing with WWTBAM etched in it if you get all 5 questions. The questions were really easy for the most part.

A DISer ended up sitting next to us and her son was the first one to be called up so she went up with him. They had 3 easy questions and 2 so-so questions but they made it all the way and WON!! It was great fun and the next 4 guests who got in the hot seat also got all 5 questions right.

Time for supper in Animators. Tomato soup was okay, the rib of beef was good, the potatoes were fabulous but the dessert was amazing!!! Actually I ordered the cheesecake which was mediocre but Jeannine had ordered the cheesecake as well as something else. She’s not even sure what she ordered but when she tasted it, she let out a big HHHHMMMMMMMM! So we all tried it and LOVED IT! So we ordered two more to share! It was a triple chocolate something or other. Here I am devouring it…

day15-12.jpg

After supper, Rob downloaded everything, M & J came by to look at their photos which gave us a few laughs and then Rob checked his mail while I went up to the fabulous hot tub and pool. Sigh, I love the hot tub and pool!!

We sat out on the verandah for a bit and just enjoyed the sound of the ocean before heading to bed.

On a side note…the Captain just made an announcement that Castaway Cay did suffer some damage from Hurricane Wilma and that the crew are doing their best to get the island all fixed up for us. The family beach I guess was hit hard but they are trying to do their best to have it open for tomorrow. On a sad note, the Castaway Rays have been cancelled, as they had promised (it is their environmental policy) that if a storm was near they would release all the stingrays so that they may find their own way to safety. So for those of you who have the Rays booked on the next few cruises, chances are good that it will be cancelled since they have to wait for the Rays to come back on their own.

As for the spa, I never asked about those new verandahs with the hot tubs, I will try my best to make it up there later and ask about it.

As for going through withdrawal when we get home, no worries, I will have tons of updates on my website! As Rob said, I have been having fun with our two digital cameras and video camera. I plan on making short videos for each theme park as well as a general trip video and a cruise video. Plus you will get to see way more photos than I have been posting here. Then in a few months I will be scrapping all of them and posting those!

As for live updates, sorry I don’t think you wanna read about our daily life at home…hmmm…woke up…made breakfast…cleaned my own bathrooms…walked Tzar our dog….surfed the DISboards….did my own laundry….just doesn’t have the same appeal I don’t think HAHAHAH.

But no worries, it ain’t over till the fat lady sings (that would be me and I ain’t singing for awhile yet!) We still have one more day at Universal’s RPR again (Saturday) then we are checking in at the WONDERFUL Wilderness Lodge for three nights, going to Typhoon Lagoon, MNSSHP on Halloween Night and maybe some mouseboating and resort hopping for photos!

Okay, gotta go upload, I am sure you are all in need of your daily fix.

Catch you guys maybe tonight or tomorrow depending on how tired we are. Whew, cruising is hard work you know!!

Although I enjoyed all of your posts, the cruise reports are my favorite---you've inspired me to think "cruise" when we plan our next disney adventure and I've found myself checking online prices already! I think I'll head on over to the DCL forum.... ::yes::

I LOVE your reports!!!! Rob I am so glad your better...You have a whole lot of ice cream to make up for. hehe

This has been such a plearsure to read!!! Lately Ive been actually dreading going to Disney again, but just reading and seeing all these photos has really gotten me back into the spirit! You guys are truly a special couple and as you already know, are blessed to have each other!!!

Thanks Cass & Rob!

By the way, no way are you the fat lady - it looks like to me that traveling is very good for you and you are soo slim. You look wonderful in all your photos. Great tan too!

Thanks again for the posts. I just checked out your website - those scrapbooks and digital layouts are totally amazing!!! I am so computer-dumb, it just amazes me that people can get the computer to do that stuff. If I can squeeze out a readable Excel spreadsheet I am having a good day!

Hope you guys are having a blast - can't wait to hear more. :wave2:

Cass and Rob - Just want to say thanks! I have been sharing your posts at the dinner table each nite :goodvibes Our cruise is still a little over a year away :guilty: My 10 year DS is also an icecreamaholic. He can hardly wait for the mickey bars.

Thanks again! We hope you enjoy your day on CC tomorrow.

:earsboy: :earsgirl: pirate: pirate:

I was so delighted to see your daily report. You guys are having a blast and it shows. By the way Rob you both looked hot in your pirate costumes. Don't worry Cass I am a harmless mother of a 2 year old with a wonderful husband so I am not trying to pick up your man. LOL even though the foot massage sounded like heaven. Enjoy your cruise, ice cream and each other's company.

they killed scoops:sad1: but they now have goofy's alley:cool1: i think its worth it

You two are absolutely amazing. This is by far the best trip report I've ever read and I think the most fun thread ever, in fact. :)

Cass, I've been a lurker at your site for a long time since I got home from my first DCL cruise and wanted to relive and remember everything. Now you're making me want my cruise in January to be here tomorrow. I'm not packed yet, but I'm going to start now! :earboy2:

I'm glad you guys are having such an amazing time.

Cass & Rob --

Gotta tell you that even my dh was thoroughly enjoying all the photos! You've been such an inspiration :) I'm seriously considering bringing my laptop so I can do this as well.

Have a great Thursday

I am love love love loving your report!!! I've never been on a Disney cruise before so I'm living vicariously through you and Rob. I feel like I'm right there with you! I just finished writing my Disney trip report a few weeks ago and was going through some serious withdrawal so this is a WONDERFUL pick-me-up! What a special couple you are. You fit right in with all of us DIS'ers in how you capture the Disney magic.

Enjoy the WL and MNSSHP. Tomorrow is my b-day and a year ago tomorrow, I was at MNSSHP. I'm reliving that trip through you. Thanks so much for taking the time to post. I'm looking forward to the rest of your (our!!) trip and seeing all your updates on your website. Eat some Halloween candy for me!! :goodvibes :goodvibes
