Hi,

Currently sat at the bar having a nice cool beer, free wifi works well.
Arrived earlier this afternoon at the Disneyland Hotel, didn't get the ground floor room we requested, oh well....

Weather nice and sunny with a cooling breeze.

Had a walk around the park, just did Pirates ride as Joshua a bit tired, however even in that relative shorter space of time met many friendly CMs, so mood is good. Stocked up on a few things from Relay shop at RER.

Didn't really enjoy our overnight stay at our Dartford Hotel, will expand when we get home.

Now I don't want to sound like a drinker, because I never drink apart from the odd one on holiday but already bought a couple of fab beer glasses, a fascination of mine from our Florida holidays, one in particular after we rode Pirates and walked through the store is just fab, will look great in the cabinet at home.

Bye for now

Johnny

Hope you have a lovely time. Nothing wrong with having a drink on holiday, I'm the same in that I hardly drink back home

Thanks both, Toad Hall is closed which is a shame as it is one of our favourite places to eat, might have to look at some alternatives. Think Julie might have something planned for wednesday, my birthday.

Will try and post a few updates to this thread as I go along.

On my second beer now, Joshua fast asleep..bless him.

Jealous, however we'll be there in two weeks.. we always make sure to have one drink in fantasia before dinner. :)

Oh that sounds just lovely.:goodvibes

Hope you're having a great! Since you didn't get your patio room...did you at least get a nice view?;)

DH and I aren't drinkers very often, but everything I hear about that place and the Bacardi Royal (sp?) we just might have to become such. :p

Cafe Fantasia is great, naturally I am the best dressed person here;)

We are in room 3168 on the west wing, it's not a fantastic view but it's not bad, it is just above the exit gates , we wanted ground floor as Joshua enjoyed the outdoor patio, having said that we can open the windows and let some air in, so not a total let down.
I am sure the GF rooms had higher ceilings, if that's not true then the beer is having an impact.:goodvibes

Hope you're not sitting in our seats lol lol. We were only just there last Thursday having cocktails - any excuse to get out of the heavy rain. Have a great time and enjoy the rest of your drinks :)

Yaaaay glad ur there ok... And having a drink (or 3)

Shame bout the room, but least windows open.... Can u hear the music????

Hope Joshua gets good keep ready for tomorro and have a lovely birthday on Wednesday!!!! Xxx

Yes we can hear music as well as guests leaving the park

Joshua's sleeping pattern is as ever a slight disruption, up at 3am last night, one of the disadvantages of DLP as opposed to villa in Florida.
Anyway sun is shining and we are going for breakfast soon. Pretty much perfect weather, hoping for a good morning at the parks, might nip to Val d'europe after and if open Cowboy Cookout for tea.

Hi !

If you are still inside the parcs....could you please try to get me these fastpass:

Indiana Jones
Star Tours
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
Flying Carpets of Agrabah

Thanks and have a fantastic time !

:thumbsup2

Thorsten

Glad you're having such a lucky break with the weather even if the room isn't the one you had hoped for. We were in France (not DLP) last week and had it cold and wet much of the time so you are very fortunate. Enjoy your morning in the park and hope you get to Cowboy Cookout later. If you go to VdE have a look in Maisons du Monde, one of my favourite shops there.

Have a great time and happy birthday for tomorrow! :goodvibes

Ooh, I'm very envious! Wish I'd been sat in Cafe Fantasia last night with a delicious cocktail instead of a cup of tea whilst I tackled the ironing! :rotfl2:

Enjoy today and have a fantastic :bday: tomorrow.

Actually had a mixed day today.
Lovely DLH breakfast and then we went to the park, went through the disabled entrance to ride Buzz Lightyear and before we could even get on it broke down, Peter Pan he enjoyed but we then went for his favourite ride,Pirates and that was also closed due to problems also.
With Pinnochio also down for scheduled closure Joshua got quite upset.
Bought him a cost and a hooded Goofy sweatshirt, he already has Mickey and Tigger one's.

Sat in the sunshine for a bit and had a trip to Val d'europe, Julie bought me some cologne from Sephora and a leather messenger bag from Chevignon, birthday presents.
I got her some Skechers trainers she liked and we had an ice cream at McDonalds, just a rest fr him so I got his portable DVD player out so he could relax for a while.
Just had an Earl Of Sandwich each , Joshua had hot dog and fries from Casey's.
Met some friendly people, a guy who helped me with Joshua's wheelchair off the RER, he offered which was nice of him.

Joshua generaly is just a little up and down in himself, maybe 7 Florida trips and 4 DLP is getting too much, shame he cannot speak to tell us.

In room now, not sure on plans for rest if day.

Thorsten, you want unused fast pass tickets for those rides?

Excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes, blame my iPad:)

Oh what a shame so many favourite rides down at the same time. I hope the day picks up for you. Just had a look at the Panoramagique webcam and the weather looks beautiful there so hope you have a good evening with no more upsets. Is the Cowboy Cookout open?

How does Joshua cope with VdE? We have real problems with Oliver there as he just wants to get back to the park all the time. I love Sephora too! Glad you encountered some friendly people who helped on the train.

Oliver has the same hooded sweatshirts too I think, a grey Tigger one, a blue Goofy one and a red Mickey one? He also has a slightly older black Grumpy one.

Have fun! :)

Thanks, always be up's and down's with Joshua on holidays, we cope pretty well really.
Anyway we just got back in, he went for his shoes, bless him. This time we got on Pirates, Buzz and more, so turned out okay in the end.....haven't checked Cowboy Cookout yet, Toad Hall still closed though.

Joshua likes spells at the park but is also happy watching his DVDs for a while, the thing we find staying here at DLP as opposed to WDW is with the weather generally cooler we can stay at the park for longer and being at the DLH the proximity helps also.

You are right about the sweatshirt colours. :)
