My 2 solo days ended when DSis arrived with DGNieces ages 4 and 7. It was non-stop activity from that moment forward. We had a mini-melt down over sharing a leaf (yes, I said leaf, and just an ORDINARY leaf) after 4 year old couldn't unwind long enough to nap. I am amazed that people can actually PLAN their park days and ADRs. Our plans were changing hour-by-hour based on how tired the girls were and whether they were more interested in parks or swimming.
The princess breakfast at Norway was a big hit. We were even given a couple of extra 4 X 6 photos because the girls are from different families. I made a HUGE mistake when the bill arrived: I thought that I had prepaid for the meal so we just left tip money. As we left the park I thought about the fact that I did not get a receipt and it dawned on me that I had only given a credit card guarantee, not a full payment! Immediately called Disney Dining to see if the restaurant could just charge the bill to my guarantee credit card, but they said they could not call the restaurant. So I raced all the way back from the parking lot and apologized to the poor server. I still feel bad about it, but I gave a second tip to try to make it up to her in some way.
Thanks to a hint on the DIS I pre-ordered a PhotoPass CD with 2 discounts for only $49. Good thing because I lost my camera at AKV on our last full day. There is still a chance it may be returned but each passing day diminishes the odds. In any event I have some great PhotoPass shots, including those from the Character Spot at Epcot.
I have lost hope of ever getting my family to try other resorts. The one time we stayed at OKW they liked the size of the GV and the 2 bedroom but they prefer the BWV location. I think the 4 year old would have loved the sand pool at SAB, and my DSis and I could have split up to allow the 7 year old to enjoy other parts of SAB. But how do you get to DHS from BCV? Do most folks drive? It is a pretty good hike to the boat dock from the villas and an even longer walk to DHS. Am I missing something?
I did not get our beloved Nazareen as mousekeeper but got her sister instead! Yasmine was also wonderful. I am so appreciative of how much a good mousekeeper adds to my vacation.
I think that the combination of walking and jacuzzi soaking really helped my leg! The discoloration is improving and the huge bump on the side of my knee is slowly shrinking. Perhaps I can write off my WDW trip as a medical expense?

One of my pet peeves was avoided when the valet brought our luggage out to the curb when we left. We lifted our own bags into the trunk so did not need to tip the valets as well. I feel like I am being scammed when both valet and bell services expect to be tipped for getting luggage from car to room or vice versa.
If you have not been at WDW in late April/early May, do try it if you can. Warm but not unbearable. It felt like Minnesota summer. And Epcot is so lovely during F & G. Sorry I can't post any more pictures.
