**Live from 6/25/05 Magic to Mexico**

my grandsons are 4 years old and 10 years old but I feel there is something for everyone there. There is a platform and the kids can dive from it thru a waterfalls.

Did you feel safe taking the youngest there without a child car seat? I've been struggling with whether or not to take the risk, since a lot of people have really recommended El Cid, but I know you have to take a taxi there.

it was just fine it is about a 20 min ride and all went well. we took a bike type cart to downtown Cabo it was a lot of fun.

Eeyorefan! What are you doing posting at 4am in the morning? I was posting at midnight and I was tired. And you had to make the 6:30am breakfast too! I'm surprised you still had enough energy to walk around baggage claim :)

I'm on land again. It's so nice to have my computer back.
Hey Pineapple! LOL! I was NOT posting at 4 a.m.--I am sure I went to bed before 1:00, just barely. Must have been something going on with the computers which were going haywire yesterday. (One kept opening to the AOL page--which I hadn't asked for--and just sitting there, frozen, until I had to call the internet cafe "helper").

And in case you hadn't noticed, I was pretty much staggering around baggage claim this morning--not walking. Also, after you left the parking lot, I realized my DD had left our Cabo souvenir bag (and goodies) in the room. I went to the info desk and gave them my contact #s before we left. They called me within 10 minutes to say they had the bag and to come and get it...which we did. (My sis gets extra points for turning that car around and driving me all the way back in--and Disney and the Port info ladies get major smileys.)

I'll miss seeing you in the next chair every night while I'm doing the online thing. Right now my home office feels a little lonely! LOL! Thanks for the company and the fun chats.

We are back safe and sound, but could have easily done another week! Unfortunatly my wallet can't. :sad2:

We had a great time. I think this has spoiled us and now no other cruise line will compare. :goodvibes It was nice to finally meet some of my fellow DISers.

We did the Las Caletas Hideaway in PV, Mazatlan Beach Escape, and the Beachside Horseback Riding in Cabo if anyone has any questions about any of these. Also had Palo bruch and dinner. Once I get my notes together I will post a complete trip report.

Eeyorefan- It looks like the board straightened out your posting time. It says 1am now.

Did you take a nap when you got home? I was totally zonked for 5 hours Saturday afternoon.

Looks like a trip report thread started over in the trip reports section. I may gather my final thoughts and post there. I started taking photos of the menus to help recall what I ate on the various nights. I also saved all my navigators. I don't know if they're worth scanning in for someone else to see. Like you said, it took a little while for us to start learning how to manage our time. By the last at sea day, I was jumping from event to event. On the first sea days, I was just trying to figure out where to go and how to get rid of the kids so I could go. I'm disappointed that I missed the Navigator series and bridge tour.

Maybe there'll be a next time.

Pineapple....wish I would have taken pictures of the menus. What a good idea. I can't even remember what I ate, but it was all good! We were the same way on the ship. We didn't do anything on the Navigator except the "behind the scenes" with Stacia. Seems like we just walked around and ate and checked out stuff and ate some more and napped and there was just not enought time.

So......we booked a "next time" while we were on board. We are going to be sure and do all that stuff "next time". If you get a chance, post your pics of the menus! I would love it.

Debbie

I'd love to see the menus. If you post them will you put a link here?

Sure. I have to find a place to put them first. Checking to see if Compuserve/AOL still gives me space.

My boys and I are finally home after spending a couple of days with my dad. I am still feeling a little sad that it is all over. The last day was rough as I seemed to be near tears all day. Like others I will try to post more details as I get my thoughts together (and get unburied from the laundry!) but suffice it to say, it was the best trip of my life! Throughout the trip I was amazed at how great I felt, well rested and everything despite all the time changes. However something definetely caught up with us on Saturday! I fell asleep ay about 1030 at my dad's, woke up at 2:30, fell back to sleep an hour later and slept until 5. then went to bed at about 9:30 and slept til 7:30 the next morning! My DS9 slept from 4 pm Saturday until 8 am Sunday morning!

I threw together a web page with photos that I took of the menus. I didn't start taking pictures until a few days into our trip so I don't have photos of the early menus.

The photos are fairly high resolution so you can zoom in and read the menus.

Hi Cliff and Debbie,

Welcome home and thanks for all the great info! My family is going on the July 23 trip and it really helps to read your posts. We are also doing the Paradise Beach in P.V. and tour with Frank in Mazatlan so when you get rested up I would love to read more details of your adventures.
