This is a great idea but I haven't really had a chance to see anything, yet. When I'm on before work (4:30 am), it's still too dark to make anything out except lights. Now, it looks very dark and I can't make anything out. Hopefully, you will be there over the weekend and I'll be able to check it out during the daylight hours!

There may be a lull this morning -- have a press event early and our internet connection will reset while we are gone. We're planning to head back to the room around 10 and will reset it then, but the camera will probably go out around 9. We'll get it back up asap!

FYI, we leave tomorrow, so the computer will get put away early tomorrow morning. Enjoy it while you can!

For those wondering how we've hooked it up, it's pretty simple. I brought my laptop and USB camera and downloaded a little freeware piece of software called Cam Commander. I plug in all my ftp information and set up the page to display the image, then just fire everything up. We actually have two laptops with us and brought a wireless router as well, so we plug the router into the wall connection, then use the wireless to log the computers on. Voila!
