We checked in yesterday and that process went pretty good until we went to look for our room! The wonderful cm that checked us in was talking to us about restaurants we have not tried yet. Well she must have been just distracted enough because she wrote the wrong room number down on our packet of room keys and on the map! In fact the room she wrote down does not even exist! So needless to say we looked for it for about 10min ( first trip as DVC'ers ) and then finally got smart and used the house phone to see what was the deal!! lol In the end tired and hungry we made it to our room! I do have to know if anyone else has experienced the monster in the air conditioner closet??? We were finally asleep ( took awhile..brought my mom so I let her sleep on the bed with my 6yr old and I took the sofa bed with my 4yr old.....not the greatest bed but hey it is a studio right? ) and all of a sudden it sounded like someone was trying to beat our door down. I was scared to death....until I realized it was the stupid air conditioner. It was screwy all night actually...had it set to 68 and it kept going from 68 to 74. Yes I know I need to call them but we were crazy busy today so I will try tomorrow.
I would love to ask my fellow dvc'ers to keep us in prayers tomorrow. The 16th will be the one year anniversary of my husband's death. Some of you know my story and have posted to me before...ty! My girls are pretty nervous about it....as am I. I cannot believe it has been one year. He wanted his girls growing up going to Disney and my 6yr old said this is where she thought daddy would have wanted us for this day so here we are. I arranged a special thing to happen at MK through giftsofalifetime! I think it is going to be so neat. I hope it might help the day go smoother. I don't know if anything can really make it okay but at least we are in a very happy place with tons of memories. I will update tomorrow night and let you know how it went!
Thank you!
