What does everyone keep theres in? I bought my dd a bunch and seem to keep buying more and more for xmas.

I have a 1 and 2yo also so I want to give her something to hold all of the pieces in when she is not playing with them.

Good question. I would love to know the same thing.

My box came today after posting that I didn't receive it yet. I typed that a little too soon.

I bought the cutest set yesterday at Target.
It had an adorable ladybug, cute puppy and a bunny.
That ladybug was so cute, so I bought it.
What a happy little face that ladybug has.

Could you please post a picture of the ladybug? :)

ETA: I googled it - it's cute. :)

I just found one of the pets that I thought was "new" & had the "new" flier of pets in it, but I'm already seeing newer pieces in the stores that are not on the flier.

Is there a site that shows new releases?

Just an FYI...I just went onto the Hasbro website and it let me order the Spider and Dog, Snail and Puppy, Squirrel and Bird, Chinchilla with Hutch, Bird, Cat and Bird and a BUNCH of others...they are limiting you to ordering only one of the new ones...I tried to order two, one of my DD and one for my niece but that didn't work. But I am just happy that I got them for my kiddo.

Also if you are ordering off of Hasbro there is a code good through Halloween I believe it is FACAT06E and that takes 10% off of your order. I got nine of them shipped for $41.38!

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this! :)

I just ordered 9 also. :teeth:

As for storage - We keep most of DD's toys in plastic Sterlite containers that have handles & flip down pannels on the lids that lock them into place. They come in at least 3 different sizes & stack well.

Would an almost 2 year old be too young for these toys?

Thanks!

I would say yes as these have some pretty small parts and could pose a choking hazard. HTH!

My daughter who is 4 is in LOVE with these, she has them all over the house...so needless to say our DD who is 18 months gets into them...the pets themselves I think would be ok, but the accessories might be a choking hazard. If the kid is oral and puts things in their mouths I would definitely say no...but if they aren't I would give them a try...but take away the accessories.

That's what I was thinking (to put away the small pieces initially). So it's still fun to play with without the accessories?

Absolutely...not all of the sets come with small pieces either...I know my 18 month old has been fine with them. We actually bought a whole bunch of sets for Christmas and both girls will get them...it is so funny to hear the baby barking like a puppy.

2 is too young. They shouldn't have them until they don't put toys in their mouth. The are pretty small and their accessories are tiny.

The packaging says 4+, and has a warning about small parts being a choking hazzard for under 3.

So why isn't the recommended age 3+? :confused3

The Hasbro site is now offering free shipping on orders $50 or more.

They now have the Purr-fection Salon listed, which DD wants & I couldn't find anywhere.

The Picnic Set with the ladybug disneysnowflake bought is listed too, along with an In the Pictures set.

I really need to stop buying these!

Angel's Momma your getting me in trouble, :rotfl2: :lmao: I'm addicted to these little critters. Thanks for the info, just ordered 3 more LPS, the Salon looks awesome! I also ordered some great puzzles; had to get the free shipping.

Thanks Again.

I'm getting myself in trouble! :teeth:

I told myself I was absolutely done buying, but then I ordered when Schachteles posted the sale last week - couldn't pass up getting all of the newer ones at once! :) DH & DBIL were glad I did though - they look for the LPS for me because I'm a SAHM that has to drive at least 30 min. to get to a store.

Then Hasbro sent me the email about free shipping - I shouldn't have looked to see what they had, but I did.

At least DD's birthday is 12/30, so I can spread it out a little.

Now to figure out where we'll put it all once she gets it! When she was younger, she'd outgrow her toys & we'd have room for new stuff, but now she wants to keep everything. I can't complain that she still likes her kitchen, baby dolls, etc. - no need for her to grow up too soon. :)

I checked on the hasbro website yesterday and all of the new LPS ones were sold out again! I'll keep checking back. I've also been trying to get the HTF Star Wars Clones/Storm Troopers for DS from hasbro, and those are all sold out, too! It's been very frustrating. :badpc:

Received my Hasbro order yesterday with the newer ones - they are so cute! :)

Owl, chinchilla, snail, spider, squirrel, were some of them.

Now waiting for my other order - can't wait to see the ladybug.

Went into Sears today, they have changed their whole children's dept. They have added more toys (guessing for Christmas). Well, of course I had to check if they had LPS. They do, and now I have a new store to help add to my adiction!! :dance3: They have the inguana w/ bonus pet they also have LPS I was going nuts looking for. They are a great value. I was strong and resisted the temptation. :smokin: But only because an hr before I bought the igloo set at Target.

they seem to have some of the new ones tonight (at least ones I need)- I still need Chinchilla - and this is the first I have heard of ladybug - will have to watch for that one.....

I just bought my DD7 the Chinchilla at Kohls for about $5 (cant remember the price). Also bought a tube of 3 at Value City for $5.99 (it had the panda and my niece wanted that). I also saw them at Sears and checked Walmart & Target also yesterday as DD7 wants a gecko. I found the gecko in a bigger set, but does anyone know if it comes by itself or in a 2 pack?
