littlest pet shops

The seller replied - the bags are sealed, so he can't tell if they're removeable.

I took back our teenies & got the 3 pieces for the tricks & talents show.

Our Target doesn't have the new exclusives yet.

I need help figuring out 2 of the newer pets.

On the checklist that shows the newer ones like snail, spider, etc. -
For Playground Pals 155 - is that a frog, or a gecko, or something else? Has anyone seen it - if so, how is it packaged?

Has anyone seen the dog #156? How is it packaged?

Has anyone seen either of these? :)

Pet #155 is a Tree Frog, and #156 is a Spaniel dog, both are packaged together in a zip up carrying case that retails for approx. $14.99 at Target. :teeth:

I was at Wal-Mart yesterday and picked up the spider and chinchilla sets for anyone who needs them.

PM me if you need either or both of these.

Thank you! :) Guess we won't be getting them, because I can't see paying that much for a case.

Welcome to the DIS & the LPS thread!!! :cheer2:

I saw the strangest thing at my local Target yesterday. When I check the LPS (like I do on every trip!) they had only 2 styles available. They had the iguana and a dog I haven't seen before. They didn't just have a few of each, there must have been 20-30 of each! But only those 2. I wonder what happened with all the other ones they've had this past month. Surely they didn't sell all those hamsters? :rotfl2:

Just thought it was strange. :confused3

Okay, I am in trouble. Took DD7 to ENT doc. today. Sent her to allergy lab for blood to be drawn for allergy test(wasn't expecting them to do it today). I promised her that we would go to Wal-mart afterwards and she could get a Littlest pet shop. She wanted the polar puppies and so I said OK. We made it thru the blood drawing and headed to Wal-mart and of course, there was not one. She was very disappointed and I let her get 2 other ones to try to make up for it. I told her that I would look online and try to order it. Came home and started looking, then realized that this is one HOT item. They are some on ebay for $20 or more but I just can't pay that much. I looked at other online stores but could not find it in stock. Any ideas? Does anyone have an extra that I could buy? Or maybe if someone gets a duplicate during the holidays I would be glad to buy it. I am not into trying to buy to sell on ebay, I am just trying to make DD7 happy after a rough day. Thanks! :sunny:

DD got a LPS mouse or hamster from McDonald's tonight. The heads bobble but the animals are attached to a base. That was the only one they had.

Thanks for the info IDoDis.

Guess that will save me some time & money. :)

Wonder if they'll release a regular version of the hedgehog.

shopnfun2me2 - sorry your DD had a rough day. I haven't seen the polar puppies around here for awhile.

thanks angel'smomma! I will just keep my eyes open. Maybe after the holidays there will be more.

We got the monkey and mouse tonight from McDonald's. The animals are attached to the base but the base pops out from the keychain base if you want to play with them that way. They are a little smaller than the pets but cute nonetheless. :thumbsup2

I know it won't make it anyone before Christmas but Walmart.com has the $8.44 sets with bonuses for $5. Shipping of course brings it back up to close to $8 each set.

That is TOO funny...I have been to Target (in Minnesota) a couple of times and all they have is the Iguana with the Tank and then the Chihuahua with a Purse!! NOT a good selection...hopefully after the holidays.

We got those two too today...and we got an extra mouse (mom had to have a Happy Meal too :goodvibes ) but I am thinking about trying to saw them off of the bases.

I do have to say I was VERY nervous about these, because DD was excited about the Polly Pockets a couple of months ago and those were junk and she thought so too...but the LPS are VERY cute! Much better quality then I had expected!

Just came back from McD's and I got the brown monkey and my Dniece23 got the red monkey. My DD7 gets off early today so I think we'll go back and get her another one for lunch. Maybe they have the mouse here too?

I do think they are pretty cute. :goodvibes I'm not going to cut them off their bases since I don't think it'll matter to DD. Also, when you snap them into their holders the clip (monkey has a heart shaped one) will allow DD to attach it to her backpack, etc. :)

for anyone in the downtown disney area.... they only have the purfect salon set (which we have been looking for for ages, it's the beauty parlor that comes with the blue bird in the window and some random cat. it's 14$ and they must have had 10-12 of the sets. dh just looked at me like I was crazy, we are on vacation and I'm buying lps... got the monkey and the mouse at the dtd mcdonalds as well... :)

I took my daughter to McD's the other night, and she got both versions of the Monkeys, the Mice, the Kittens and the Salamanders. 4 down, 4 to go...

For Christmas, she got a TON of LPS. She got the tricks sets, the Target tin, an activity book, 5 individual sets, and a Magic motion set! Definitely a LPS Christmas for her...

Oh! Man, i am still looking for the salon!! Our TRU use to have tons of them, no more..

My dd got TONS of LPS from santa, she got the Tricks Talent Show, the Target Tin, The Biggest Littlest Pet Shop, the Whirl and Twirl playground, 3 medium sets, and about 16 of the smaller sets....... Honestly, i felt like i was opening LPS all day!! (Those DARN elastics!!!!!) LOL
She also got a LPS activity thing, a carrier, and a book..
Definatley an easy Christmas for shopping for her!! Wonder what next yr. will bring! LOL

My DD8 and I had a contest with 2 LPS sets to see who could get everything out first. DD won.
What a pain those things are!

DD only got a couple of sets, but I just had to share my great find with you guys since DH just didn't understand. ;)

We were on our last pre-Christmas shopping run on 12/23 and there was one of the special Target Tins sitting on the shelf. You should have seen how quickly I whipped that baby into my cart. I had missed getting one, but no way I was paying E-bay prices, so I was thrilled. DH just didn't get all the excitement over a LPS.

That's awesome! I'm so happy for you. I almost returned a set to Target (I bought one extra in case my neighbor wanted it) but my neighbor did want it (I sold it to her for cost) and her DD9 was very surprised to get it. :santa:

And yes, opening LPS, (or anything else for that matter) is very time consuming. Except I have to say that American Girl Jess doll was very easy to release from box. Only 3 rubber type bands held her in! :goodvibes
