I bought the skunk a few days ago. I've seen it a couple of times over the past week since then. Keep looking because it is finally showing up on the shelves. I'm looking for the ladbug set if anyone has an extra.

The skunk and ferret I want for DD for her birthday in the Spring. Will have to keep looking and I have time. I'm guessing they'll restock after the holidays. I was glad to get the spider though for Christmas. She loves these so much!

try the dollar store or biglots for the ferret. or kb toys. no one else seems to carry it. although it looks like they are bringing out a new ferret soon. (with a carrying case).

I've seen quite a few over the last few days. I will pick one up if I see another.

On a side note, my daughter got a $20 giftcard from her Grandfather for x-mas, and she bought the hamsters and kittens teeniest tinyest pet shops. They did not have the puppies. I was talking with one of the stock girls, and she found two or three sealed cases of them, so I was able to get my little girl the puppy set!!

So far for X-mas, she is getting these LPS things:
Target Tin
Spider set
Squirrel set
Teeniest Tinyest Puppy set
Activity book (w/stickers, etc)

And my mother got her the Talent and trick show and the side pieces!

She is definitely have a LPS X-mas!!

Is that special tin at Target hard to get?? I would LOVE this for my dd, but, our target is about 20min away, and i hate to drive up there unless i knew i could get it..

they were $25 - some say the stores that did not sell out initially put them on sale fro $15 - some were able to get a price adjustment, some were not. I got it, but feel guilty because the customer service guy was nice enough to take our word for it, but now I am not sure we were supposed to.

I think stores are pretty much out now - ours sold out the first week, but I know we had at least one professional Ebayer buying them up....

Yes, good luck on finding that Tin in the Target stores. We have about 8 or 9 in the Cincinnati area, and I called EVERY one of them. All were sold out and did not expect to get any more, as they were a "Limited Time Exclusive".

I had to resort to eBay, and I got mine at a decent price ($40 delivered).

yeah those tins were GONE from my 6 area targets by tuesday afternoon after that ad came out for them. I was kind of amazed that they went that fast but....

What's the deal with the ferret?!? Is it from an older batch - or a newer one?!? The only place I've seen it is the "bay" - and the package does not look like the normal sets that are out now either!

I think "I" want it more than DD4, b/c I had 2 ferrets for a LONG time! We were fortunate enough to get the Target set though, so I know that she will be getting one ferret there - but it bothers me that I cannot find the regular one!

It was a single pack that only certain stores carried. Meijer and Family Dollar carried them here. You could also get it in one of the larger playsets as a "bonus" pet. My daughter already had that playset, so I wasn't buying another just to get the ferret. I ended up finding one at Family Dollar after discovering that one on eBay had the trademark Family Dollar $2 sticker on it. I then found 2 more at a local Meijer about a week later. Those are the only 3 I have seen; ever (other than pics on the internet).

I wish I could help you out. I bought an extra set (in case my DD7's best friend's mom wanted it) and she did-I sold it to her for cost. Sorry

Happily, her DD8 will be very surprised as she knows her mom didn't buy one while they were still in stock-I love to spread "holiday magic"!

Man, this time of yr. makes me realize how much i despise ebay.. If people would just leave the stuff in the stores, then maybe more kids would get what they want for Christmas..

the ferret in the single pack is still out there, one of my friends just bought 2 at the family dollar store this week. as for ebay, not everyone on there goes out and cleans out the store, some people make their living selling on ebay. yes, there are some bad apples out there but again, you don't have to buy the stuff that they are selling. I happen to like ebay, I do buy stuff on ebay pretty frequently, can't say I've sold stuff but... good luck finding the lps that you want and merry christmas.

I do see your point and I agree. on the other hand the tins on ebay that are selling are going for what everyone paid for them in the store, none of the ones that are buy it now at outrageous prices are selling. it's too bad that target got it as a "limited edition" because that's really what caused the run on them in the first place. Also, I don't think they ordered a whole ton of them. we had an endcap with probably 50 and that was it. so really, the manufacture is at fault as well.

Ok, in that case, i just bid on - and won a tin for 29.00.. So, i don't feel too bad. That i can handle, but i saw some people on there selling it for a BIN of 63.00!
