Little thank-yous for CMs?

One year we made little thank you cards to hand out to all the CMs who made our trip extra special. I'm a big scrapbooker, so they were great fun to make with lots of embellishments (ribbons, brads, stickers, etc). We just put a little "Thank you for the extra magic" or something like that with our name, state (South Dakota) and date on it. Then my rule was everyone had to give out at least one per day (my kids are fairly shy, so it was good for them), but we could give out as many as we wanted to. It was fun!


Has anyone else done anything like this? I would like to do this again on our upcoming trip, only with something fairly "state" appropriate - like a little gift from SD. I read a post a while back where someone from the NE gave out little bottles of maple syrup - what a great idea!

I was thinking about doing something like that with little boxes of Smarties (that's the Canadian version of Rockets). Our Rockets are your American version of Smarties. lol

But I like the little thank you notes too. LIght and easy to carry around the parks with you or the resort. Everyone deserves a little thank you for a job well done. I always think of the people who are cleaning up the washrooms or sweeping up trash. I don't think a lot of tips come their way very often.
