We'll be at OKW [GV] end of Aug. Some questions for the children. 1. Are high chairs provided? If not, where can we rent? 2. What about cribs? 3. Also, any suggestions about strollers? Thanks in Advance,

You can rent all types of baby/kid equipment from A Baby's Best Friend (www.abbf.com). They deliver it right to the resort and bell services will bring it to your room. I got a toddler bed for my son for our trip in September. Their prices are fairly reasonable too. The resort offers cribs but my experience with hotel cribs aren't great...they just aren't that nice and comfy looking. Never had the ones at Disney so they could be different. If you do get the one at Disney, bring your own sheets so your child feels a bit more like home. As for strollers, if you have a smaller one from home, I recommend bringing it. The ones available for rent in the parks are hard plastic and not really comfortable for kids to sleep in (although they will be so tired they will probably sleep anywhere). You can't, however, take the stroller from park to park so getting from the bus to the gates to the bus to the hotel can be tough, especially with a sleeping child. Bringing your own means you will always have it with you and will be one less line you have to wait in each day.

Wooden high chairs with no tray (they slide up to the table) are in closets, as are pack 'n' plays. (If not in your unit just call mousekeeping.) A few cribs are available but I don't think they are guaranteed, so you may need to rent from off-site if you absolutely must have a crib. Strollers can be rented at all the parks but for tiny ones you had best bring your own stroller.

Def bring your own umbrella stroller - the strollers to rent are clumsy and they are uncomfortable to sleep in. Plus - if you want to go to Downtown Disney you can't take it with you, or around OKW for that matter. Better off bringing your own.
A note on staying in the GV - I requested a saftey gate for the stairs numerous times and it just doesn't seem like they have enough cause we never got one. We blocked the stairs with chairs and stuff to keep the little ones from climbing up and down all the time!! They were still too little to manage themselves! Have fun!
