Just wondering if anyone has attended this year and how it was. We plan on taking DD and I'm starting to get excited! If you have any details to share, that would be great :goodvibes

We went the first Wed of this month. My girls played duck, duck, goose with Mickey and Pluto. My 7 year old was "goosed" and she goosed Mickey. We really enjoyed that. Then we rode Dumbo with no line while Stitch was riding. Then we rode Peter Pan and Captain Hook and Wendy were playing Simon Says. Then we did a couple other rides. THen we got our picture taken with Ariel with absolutely NO LINE! THat was a miracle. Then we looked at Tinkerbell in the drawer at Tinkerbell's Treasures. Finally we sat on a bench outside Tink's Treasures and under the castle eating a yummy breakfast Dh went and grabbed from Main St. Bakery. It was a delightful morning.

It was great. If it won't cramp your style, I would go for sure. It was the only time we needed at Fantasyland.

We were there the same day as the previous poster and we loved it. Did all the things mentioned above. I'd definitely recommend it for the character interaction.

sounds like you guys had a great time! My kids can't wait to play with the characters! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I am so confused about this. We will be there October 14th and the park is open 9-7, does that mean we can get in at 8 am?

Oh, this sounds sooooo awesome for my kiddos! Anyone have any thoughts on whether this may be continued into early/mid December (I see on allears that it is currently scheduled through October)?

From what I understand they do it around the same time each year. Not sure if it has ever been extended or not.

Thank you all for such great information. I'm so excited to go the the Little One's EMH on Monday! DD is 18 months so she doesn't quite understand when I try to explain that we leave on Saturday ;) I hope to get some good pics and I will post them if anyone is interested.

ITS ON SUNDAY, AND WE WILL BE THERE TOO!

We were able to do this w/ds last September and it was so great - not very many people in the park yet and too many characters to mention out interacting and playing with the children. DS got to play ring around the rosy with Snow White and tossed a ball with Mickey and Goofy.

This year we're arriving on Sunday afternoon and we'll be doing the LO's Magic Hour on Weds. :cool1: Can't wait!

We went to the 1st one on 8/26. My kids loved it. My kids got to ride the carousel with Chip, DD4 played "Duck, Duck,Quack" with Daisy and Minnie and played in Pooh's spot with Pooh and Tigger. DS8 played a game with Peter and Wendy and also played with Alice, the Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins even got DS11 in on the action by scolding him for not joining in.:lmao: We also got to sing with Mickey and Pluto. Everyone was very nice to all the little kids and there was no autographs or posing for pictures which freed up the characters to really interact with the children. We did all this in one hour and walked on to Peter Pan (1 hour wait later in the day), Winnie the Pooh and Mad Tea Party. Hope your time there is as magical as ours was.:wizard:

P.S. If you look closely at the 1st picture you can see the queue to Dumbo. No line! Yes, the ride was open.

I was looking forward to this for months, and we finally went this past Sunday. IMO, it was packed! My kids were lost in the crowds, and the wait time for Peter Pan at 8:20 a.m, was already 20 minutes!!! It was less crowded Tuesday & Wednseday afternoon in Fantasy Land. I guess I got my self too excited for this one. If it was less crowded it woul dhave been great.

This makes me sad...the only LOEMH during our trip is a Sunday, and it is the last one of the season. I hope it is not too crowded.

Please dont be sad, that was only our experience! I am sure there are slow days! It would be great if we didnt feel like we had to run around & do all of the rides because wait times were increasing the later it got. I was expecting walk ons, and it wasn't. Magic Kingdom was definetely slower on Tuesday night & Wednesday. Have fun!!

I loved this last year, but we went on 9/23 and it just wasn't the same...far busier than last year. I wish we could have gone on a different day (not a Sunday). Maybe it would have been less busy. in 2006 we rode all the rides in Fanatasyland without a wait (well, I am sure Dumbo was a little bit of a wait, but it was very short).

The characters were still out and about this year. My daughter hung out at Pooh's Playful Spot, where they were playing "Tigger says" funny, since the characters don't talk...but the lines were NOT short this year as they had been the year before. I guess we lucked out in 2006, maybe not as many people knew about it.

Not sure if you read my previous posts in this thread, but we were there on the same day, and I thought it was way too crowded. I got myself so excited for nothing great, IMO. If it were less crowded it would have been fun.
