Little Mermaid Room Renovation

Has anyone seen any renovations going on with the little mermaid rooms. I have heard that they are doing renovations to include updating the beds and adding coffee makers. Have not heard about microwaves yet. If you have seen anything let me know. If you have any pictures of the updates add those also. Staying in the mermaid room in June 2018.

POP is renovating rooms with a coffee maker included. No Microwaves though.

Those rooms have only been open a tiny bit over five years. While theory is that eventually the resort categories will be replaced by location groupings, and updated/equipped similar to the Pop renovations, nothing specific has been announced.

LM rooms at AOA only opened in I think September 2012.
There should not be that much of a need to switch out beds already.
I have heard nothing about microwaves or coffee makers although the coffe maker s would be an easy addition and not what i'd consider renovating.

Yes September of 2012 is when they opened (I was one of the first to stay there )

I have been getting info from an employee that works at the resort on a facebook group. She is unable to post any pics of what is being done in the rooms, but has stated that there will be coffee maker in the rooms.

Some on the page have said they have seen new mattresses being taken into some of the rooms. This has been confirmed as happening. Just waiting to see if anyone gets any pics this actually happening and also there being coffee makers in the roooms

Just putting coffee makers in those rooms would be a huge improvement because of the distance to the foodcourt.

It could be that they are doing a rolling soft goods replacement, things like mattresses that tend to wear out quickly. Many hotels replace them on a five year schedule, but it’s not really considered a renovation. What they are doing at Pop is a true renovation.
